Remarks

I heard they have a good education system and i got the same branch EC so it would be nice if I join my favorite stream in a good college. Thought the college was just started position of the college among KTU list was commendable.

Course syllabus is very well updated.Faculties are very well aware of the changes in syllabus. They always help us to do online nptel courses and yes we have provided good industrial exposure like NEST.

Placement Experience

College provides us an excellent placement cell and most of the students gets job in IT field. Approximately 25 companies visit our campus mainly TCS, wipro, Infosys, Cognizent, IBM and the number of students they recruit is also a big number. We have a good alumini networking. Robogaph is a startup company by our seniors they have done workshops classes for students.

College Events

Technical activities and extracurricular activities our college provides is amazing. It's like mainly we have only those two events in our college. We don't have much appreciation for sports even though the students are ready for such events management doesn't have much concern about sports events.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides very good scholarship for the students based on the maths score during the time of admission and also cgpa score can help a student to get a scholarship. If the cgpa of the students in the first two sem is more than 8 he/she have to pay only 8500 tution fee instead of 75000

Campus Life

We have a great library for common and also every department have it's own library. We have got perfect labs. We don't have much facility for sports. Wi-Fi facility is also provided within the campus and also we have a common computer facility center which we can use for all purposes like projects etc.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.
