Its a great college if you want to understand management basics of power sector.

Entrance Preview

I took CAT entrance and scored 90 percentile as i was from electrical background doing MBA in power management was perfect for me so took admission in NPTI.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum was mix of both power subjects such as power plants,T&d management,smart grids and general subjects such as economics,marketing,business communication.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was arranged by college itself in some of the best consultancy and power sector companies with avg stipend ranging from 7000-8000 rs. Students are placed in internship within 1 week of commencement.

Placement Experience

Our college has 100% job placements in consultancy firms and power sector companies. Companies like kpmg,pwc,infosys,tcs,reliance,tata power etc visits the campus with avg package of around 5-5.5 lacs.

College Events

College conducts annual fest in which other MBA colleges are invited and records around 1000 entires of students participating. Apart from it many seminars and technical papers are conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it is a govt college so fee structure is less expensive as compared to other private colleges offering MBA. Approximate fee structure was around 1.5 lacs per semester which turns out to be 6 lacs for complete 2 years of MBA.

As such no scholarship is offered by the college but you can avail loan for paying fees from any if the leading banks.

Campus Life

Since its a power sector course so boys were in more numbers as compared to girls. All types of sports facility are provided by the college and annual sports fest is also conducted along with cultural events.

Hostel Facilities

It has very spacious hostel facilities with many indoor activitites and sports facilities such as table tennis,gym,carrom,volleyball court,badminton. Canteen was also great for hostlers.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

There is a great alumini network of our college. You will find students of our college in almost all power sector companies. Seniors are always helpful in guiding juniors.

Exam Structure

Exams are similar to other other colleges with semester system having twice internal papers and 1 semester end examination.

Faculty

We had some of the best faculty having more than 20 years of experience in power sector and coming from various govt psu organisations. There are many visiting faculty from DU for general MBA subjects.

Best college for MBA in Gurgaon (Delhi NCR).

Placement Experience:

Almost 650% of students land a PPO with the companies they intern at. For the others, the Placement Cell does an amazing job of lining up companies for campus recruitment. The highest package recorded has been 16 LPA with an average revolving around around 6 LPA. I think it's reliable placement scenario and we are given enough training to do our best in the interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum combines the theory as well as practical subjects. The course includes projects and assignements based on the different tools like excel, Power BI, Python, SQL. The course assignments and projects take place in the end of the trimesters for most of the subjects which make it quite hectic to submit them for some subjects overlapping each other.

GLIM Placements start from the beginning of 2nd year as till then we are also done with our intenrships. Also, placements here are lesser than that of Chennai but still median of GLIM is around 15 lakhs which is much better than other B-Schools of NCR.
