Remarks
Since the college is located in Delhi, it has better companies coming to the campus and hence better opportunities for placement. Also, the alumni of DTU is pretty amazing. DTU which was formerly DCE is very reputed and has a very good name all over the world.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is not recently updated. The syllabus is the same for the past many years. The faculty although is really helpful. Also, there are a lot of groups led by students who help juniors in their academics.
Placement Experience
DTU is known for its placements. Since the college is situated in delhi, a lot of companies come here. Some big companies include facebook, Amazon, uber, Flipkart. The college has 100% placement rate.
College Events
DTU hosts one of the largest college fest in the while of North India, that is, ENGIFEST. You can see crowd from a lot of colleges (even outside Delhi) during this fest. There a lot of other fests too held by DTU that are a great success. There are various societies (technical and non-technical) in DTU that offer various opportunities to the students.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is okay and well maintained. There are gyms in the hostel, although the equipments don't work. The sports complex is huge and offers all sports facilities. There is a separate court for every sport. The library is huge and has a lot of books with a lot of copies so they never run out of the book that you need. The labs although are not well maintained. Most of the apparatus are not working. The WiFi works well in the whole of campus.
Hostel Facilities
First of all, it's really difficult to get hostel in DTU. If you do get hostel accomodation, consider yorself lucky. The hostels are not well maintained. The mess food is okay. The rooms are given on sharing basis. Each room has 2-3 students in it. Each hostel building has a water cooler and a washing machine (that rarely works).
