The institute is renowned for its experienced faculty, commendable research culture, and an extensive and vibrant alumni network. These factors were definitely beneficial for the research based career path I had planned.

The syllabus is very well updated with all the upcoming technology. The faculties are knowledgeable and very helpful to the students. There is a fully functional training and placement section handling industrial interns and placements. This year a lot of major companies hired from our college. In ECE department, we have faculties with expertise in a vast range of technologies from VLSI, Sensors, Signal Processing, Communication, Networking to the next-gen areas like Internet of Things, 5G, Machine Learning (AI), etc.

Various top tier companies visit our campus for recruitment. Microsoft, Uber, De Shaw, Salesforce, Qualcomm, Xilinx, Texas Instruments etc. are just the tip of the iceberg. PSUs like ISRO also visited this year.

The college students with assistance from the administration, organise the biggest technical and cultural festivals of south India namely, Technozion and Spring Spree respectively. Technozion is a massive gathering of tech-geeks, experts, entrepreneurs, builders and learners from all across the country. Its a celebration of the free thinking and inquisitive mind. Nonetheless, the Spring Spree is a huge conglomerate of creative minds, both radiating and absorbing the rich nectar of arts and craft. From digital design art to massive concerts, we present the whole spectrum to feed the creative juices in the growing minds of youngsters.

The infrastructure is magnificent, in short. The campus houses two of the biggest hostels in the continent. The ladies hostels are well protected and guarded. The department infrastructure is sturdy with two massive new buildings for Chemical, Biotech and Metallurgy departments. The campus in itself is lush green with calming parks and recreational areas.

Hostels are very well built and spacious. The basic amenities are available. The social life is vibrant inside these hostels. Boys need to share rooms for the first three years and get a single room in the final year. Girls have shared rooms all along their Btech.
