Anonymous's Review On SIES Graduate School Of Technology - [SIES-GST], Navi Mumbai

This was the only college that had this course, it was close to my house and it was a reputed institution within Mumbai University. Moreover SIES had a plethora of options when it came to extra curricular activities.

First Year Syllabus is completely outdated. My course had a compulsory internship, making industrial exposure an integral part of the course. The faculty were really helpful and gave excellent guideance for my thesis.

Many of the students in my branch of study had their own family businesses hence opted to join them. Placements are driven by the Heads of Department and rely on the relationship between the department and industry partners. Internships are a part of the final semester and most students get placed in their interning companies. Some of the companies that do come for internships and placements are Tetra Pak, Proctor & Gamble, Hindustan Unilever, Dabur, Future Group and several other from FMCG and the packaging sector.

SIES Graduate School Of Technology had a whole host of activities driven by students that helped in enriching campus life. Annual cultural, technical and sports festival was something that all students lood forward to. Other activities included hackathons, TED events and meet ups from Technical Chapters like CSI, IETE, IPI, IEEE and SAE. SIES is also proud to be home to one of the finest Baja teams in India.

I got a scholarship for opting for my stream and didn't have to pay the fees for my first year of college. It was extended to students who scored more than 90 in MH CET and opted to take Printing and Packaging Technology

SIES always had excellent infrastructure but lacked in sports facilities due to space constraints. The labs had good equipment and students should be able to complete all experiments prescribed by the University, however the college does lack infrastructure for research.
