Remarks

Their sincerity towards teaching, campus and placements attracted me towards the college. Also, I preferred joining a computer science program above any other and I was desperate to get a college of my major as soon as possible. So getting into this college was mainly because it offered me my desired course with decent placement offers for the future.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am on the batch whose syllabus might change every semester. Yes, we are provided with enough exposure to accept the fact of getting a lot much of Assignments. Regarding Faculties, I have mixed emotions because some are cool and friendly while others are typical teachers.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

They are good. About 98 students of 100 get placed for CE and IT dept. While that's not the same for mechanical and extc. Other depts. Have decent placement rates like 60 to 70% of students getting placed.

College Events

My college has a number of clubs like technical, cultural, creative, etc. Cognition is the technical fest while tatva moksha lakshya is the cultural fest of college. College has won Various prizes from various competitions.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is quite decent. Not too big yet not too small is all I can say. Labs and libraries are always updated. We have our own mail id.s where we get updates about everything. We use digital education much which I think will be uncomfortable for some students.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel facility in the college I think. It has to be arranged urself and no. Of students stay on their own like this. PG.s and hostels are there near the college because there are also other colleges nearby so other college students might also stay there.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Placement Experience:

We have a great Training and placement cell , they first help for inturnship in 3rd and 4th year and also invites top componies for placements in our collage. 6th or 7th sem students are eligible for placements. 80% studnets among the eligible get placed. I will try to get a dencnt job too.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

SIES A Honing Edge for young minds

I had applied for MIT pune and VIT after the jee and cet exams I never recieved any feedback from MIT. However i recieved 31000 rank in VITEE and thus applied for the admission process. However i got a seat in VIT Vellore ina higher fee bracket which was not ideal. Since i believed that further education(MBA Mtech) Was also required i decided not to spend too much for a college and so chose SIES based on my CET score.
