IIMs are the premium institutes of the country that provide best in class academics for management students. Since I had developed a keen interest in Management skills, I was sure of my future choices. Only 2 IIMs provide courses in undergrad and since IIM Rohtak was close to my parents I preferred it. The curriculum, the campus, the living accommodation,and everything was quite pleasing which helped me choose it without any ado.

The course curriculum is pre-decided according to the national standards. Since, we have a trimester system, we have an opportunity to learn a larger no. of subjects per year. The faculty were all very experienced and fluent with their techniques. The multitude of guest lectures that we receive fro people from experience backgrounds has upgraded the knowledge very well. The material provided is also sufficient to ensure best academic preparations.

Indian Institute of Management Rohtak has successfully concluded Final Placements for the batch of 2018-20. Institute has adopted a strong and intensive corporate interaction process for its students, including leadership lecture series, live projects, management summits, workshops, and certification programs. Institute organized leadership lecture series throughout the year, where senior corporate leaders share their experiences, expertise, opinions, and ideas that helped students to widen their horizon to become future business leaders. The highest CTC offered this year was 24 LPA, whereas average CTC was 13.7LPA. Average CTC was 13 LPA with a total no. of 86 recruiters. This year witnessed a 47% increase in the participation of new companies. Organizations like Bain Capability Network, Lens kart, RBS, Michael Page, and Infosys Management Consulting are among the 40 new recruiters, who exhibited an interest in our students. Loyal recruiters like ICICI Bank, Indus Valley Partners, Tata Steel, HDFC Bank, Capgemini, and Cognizant, among others, continued to impose faith in the ability of our students. This year also witnessed a good number of Pre-Placement offers being given by various recruiters. Analytics, Sales & Marketing, and General Management, among others, were the most sought-after domains. This has been observed due to the diversified pool of student talent at our institute that catered to the wide range of profiles required by industry. Also, increased its diversity in course offerings.

Campus life is great. You will have ample time to give yourself time for personality development. The class timings are flexible and not straining. the attendance is a little strict but its perfectly necessry. The IIM culture rules help you out to bring a sense of discipline in yourself after the restrictions or the guidelines you are supposed to follow.

The campus is still under construction, though the facilities are great. There is a huge ground for football,cricket,volleyball court, indoor stadium with badminton courts and all indoor games, and many TT Tables. The hostels are very well built with full air-conditioned and a bandwidth connection of 100 MBPS.The college has recently come up with a new world class library in update to its previous library. The store in the campus is available for the kids for basic necessities. The classes are all equipped with all the tech devices and AC.

The Hostel of IIM-Rohtak is one of the very good hostels that i have seen. The rooms are on 2 sharing basis with 4 people inside a room divided into two. There is a separate washroom for every room. The bunk beds are comfortable and you are provided with a bandwidth connection of 100 MBPS. There is a washing machine on 2nd floor and the cleaning guy is available till 5 in the evening. The mess food is also much better than other college food and the variety is self-chosen by the students.
