Remarks

College is good but they make students wait a lot to give the scholarship money.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is a little old, exam structure also depends on vtu norms which keeps on changing every year, two. But teaching was really good, my suggestion for juniors is to maintain a good score and have some real knowledge, improve your communication skills that will add to your efforts for securing the job.

Placement Experience

3

Placements not bad, really fewer companies recruit for core braches and most of the recruitment is for either it or sales related. Yes most of us get placed in the campus and off campus drives. Institute gives special coaching on interpersonal, and communication skills for final year students to help them to crack the interview.

College Events

4.5

The College supports cultural and sports activities, on every special occasion college celebrates and supports cultural programs and even inter brach sports tournaments are held every year. Our college has also made good achievement at state level tournaments also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is above average, and not too expensive, my fee was 80k per year if you come from cet quota, for management quota fee is more expensive. College accepts fees via dd, online fund transfer via NEFT or RTGS and cheque mode is also available.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there is a scholarship from the state government for backward class students every year around the month of august the applications for the scholarship are accepted via an online portal and all the documents will be verified after that the month of January 20% of the total fee will be refunded. And also all the government and private banks offer education loans with very low-interest rates these can be availed by meeting the bank managers.

Campus Life

3.5

College life will always be awesome the friends around you, gender ration is also almost 60:40 with male dominating, but college promotes and supports gender equality, every year in the month of March college feast 'Sankalp will be held wich contains many computations for teaching, art, sport etc fields. And even ethnic days and other days are celebrated.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No, I don't opt for the hostel as I was a local resident, but the pgs near are a little expensive. It's around 6k per month the restaurants near are also expensive, hostel rooms are also average and near to the college.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors were good during my days every year an alumni meet is held to benefit the students from the alumni students. Some of them are in a really good position today some clubs are their alumni students.

Admission

First, you have to write an cet then you will get your merit no depending on merit no you will get chance to opt your college, I chose this college since it was near to my home as well it had some good reputation in the local area. After choosing your college in the online portal you will get an admission order and if you submit it to the college with the fee. You will be admitted to the college.

Faculty

4.5

In my brach there were around 25 lecturers, most of them were well experienced in both industry as well as teaching, the average age is 35 to 40. Lecturers are really helping and friendly and strict when it comes to rules and regulations. I would definitely say that the teachers experience qualifying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
