Course curriculum is not research driven. As per the relevancy is concerned, it is not relevant at all. They are teaching us the syllabus which was taught in 1990s. They have to updated anything. They are teaching us about primitive micro processors, primitive languages. And no personal improvement courses. And the syllabus won't help you to through the placements.

Placements are not that good. Because placement cell is not enthusiastic and active here. Barely 2-3 companies come every years. TCS, MU SIGMA AND one non technical that's the most we can expect. Tcs gives really low package, mu Sigma comes with 3 years bond and the people who are placed in tcs are not allowed to go for other companies. College doesn't do anything for internships, we have to find this externally.

Annual college fests, debate clubs, football fiesta, insync society fest. Insync society fest is really good and the participation is also on the large basis. Other college people also come to participate. Rock band concerts happened there. They organize really influencing skits and dramas on college and city level.

It is the most affordable college in the state. They don't charge that must. Even if it for college, they charge really low. I mean even you are really bad financial you can afford to take loans and payoff later. Compared to low level college, UIT is really affordable.

I belong to under privileged category. So the government has special programs and schemes for us avail that. Sports scholarship is also there. Scholarship are provided full amount and half amount as per the economic status. But still you've to pay 8000 for the bus fees which is mandatory.

In gender ratio it is okay. But in diversity it is bad. Only local prefers to come here in the college. Condition of extra curricular activities, labs and sports are really bad. Labs are not maintained. Debate club is there to engage people. Equality is there. I mean they provide scholarship on the basis of a student's financial status. No religion or race bias.

No I didn't. At that time they didn't give hostels to the under grad students. It was only for PG students. The number of seats per room is approximately 2 to 3. The fees has to paid on per semester basis. Girls hostels are really good.

Seniors are helpful in time to time basis. They can help with books and notes. They can help to get flats for rent in the city. Alumni doesn't get in touch.

I entered PET (PRE ENGINEERING TEST) to go for state level colleges. I secured high marks so I got UIT. This is 4th rank college. The admission normally happens in the month of July. The PET exam is now replaced with JEE MAINS exam. So now you've to study hard for that be because it js tougher.

The college timing is 9 to 5, so they conduct around 5-6 lectures in a day. Faculties are mostly GATE qualified or have masters degree. The average age of the faculties is 26. But as per the clarity of the subject, they have it. If you are willing to learn they'll tell you everything they know. If you doubts you can ask them any number of times.
