Remarks

This college is counted as one of the most prestigious medical institutions in our country. It is considered in the top 10 medical colleges of India. It is not easy to get a seat here and one must do a lot of hard work. The faculty and management of the college is first class.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

You get all the basic knowledge about the course. We are provided with all the practical knowledge and scenario that we might tackle during our practice. We have many tests both theory and practicals. Cumulative results are prepared which you must pass by at least 50% marks.

Placement Experience

4.5

We do not get visited by companies. Once you complete the internship you are qualified as a doctor.

College Events

4.5

We have lot of cultural fests during the course. On an average we have 4-5 cultural events each year. One of our cultural events is inter college and received participation from all medical colleges of North India. We can also attend the events in other colleges by attending their fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of the college being a government institute is pretty feasible. The fee is approximately 26-27 k per year. You can pay via card or demand draft. For NRI students the fee structure is different. The college gives full account of the fee breakdown in the brochure.

Fees and Financial Aid

College offer scholarships for toppers and students who get distinction in yearly examination. you have to get more than 75% marks for eligibility. The sum of award wasn't much but still acts as a motivating factor.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio is pretty equal. Maybe a little more girls than boys. we have a lot of cultural fests and sports events. We have annual sports day and can participate in other competitions on behalf of the college. We get all sorts of competitions like debate singing dancing etc. Most of the students are locals but we have a few students from far away states and the tolerance is very good. There is no discrimination or bias of any sorts.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No. Most of the hostel rooms are sharing and are shared by 2 people (sometimes 3). The hostels are very spacious and have a good hygiene. The hostel fee is very minimal and includes electricity and water supply.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are one of the most important part of the medical college. Their guidance and support helps you a lot and makes you familiar with the patterns of study and a lot more.

Admission

This is a highly reputed course and a noble profession. The institute is very good and close to my house. You have to take the NEET examination and based on the merit list you get admission into the college. You need to secure a good rank to get this college.

Faculty

4.5

It's a 4½ year long course with 1 year of internship and includes 19 subjects. There are many faculty members in each department and each of them are highly qualified professionals. Lectures provide all the important information to make you a good doctor.
