Golden Memories

College management was supportive and had good will for their students. Students could easily reach out to management in case of any queries or discussions.

I took up MH-CET and AIEEE exams. I scored 30 in AIEEE and 80 in MH-CET. I opted for that college as it was very promising and many of my friends were studying over there already. I also had not so good scores so took up this college which was better than the rest. I enjoyed and was thrilled to have got admitted to engineering college as my dream came true.

Course covered many disciplines in the first year like - electrical, mechanical, computer, electronics, physics & chemistry which helped me in understanding the core of each discipline. 2nd year to 4th year covered my choice of discipline (E&TC) and was an amazing experience to learn various faces of E&TC - Digital electronics, communication, Analog electronics etc. 4 years of engineering were full of learning wide variety of courses.

Lot many companies came for interview - Symantec, Syntel, TCS, KPIT, Mahindra, Power Electronics etc. The salary offered ranged from 2 Lakhs per annum to 4 lakhs per annum. I also got campus selected to Power Electronics which is a Pune based electronics company.

Companies came for the campus interview were - Symantec, Syntel, TCS, KPIT, Mahindra, Power Electronics etc. 60-70 % of each branch (E&TC, Mechanical, Computer & IT) got placed in various companies.

Technical events - IETE, IEEE, guest lectures by employees of various reputed companies, Robotics session, GPS session etc. Cultural event - Annual Function, Sports day, Day celebration events at college level.

Fees was very less for the first year and then was suddenly raised so high in the second year which was eventually reduced after we (Students & parents) protested. So, it became feasible and reasonable.

College provided education loan to student, gave fees exempt to economically backward students and also offered an option of paying fees in instalments in case it was difficult for students to pay the whole amount at once.

Our college was very supportive of the celebrations requested by students like- various days (Red, pink, hat, jeans etc), technical events, sports events and conducted them as well.

Hostel rooms were spacious and number of students staying per room was also reasonable. Rooms were maintained properly by cleaning them at regular frequency. Hostel had good security and rector. Mess was also hygienic and provided variety of food. Though the food did not taste great but it could be eaten.

We had our first alumni meet after 1 year of college i.e in 2013 (2012 pass out) and was organised very well. We were given various good books and also had good discussions on what was good, what can be improved and about our career.

Exams and labs were properly scheduled which did not make our day hectic. Exams were held at proper intervals which gave students confidence to prepare for the main exam and helped us in being on track.

Faculty of my college especially of E&TC branch were very supportive and guided us so well throughout out college tenure and also are in touch with me after passing out college for the last 3 years. They taught us not only our subjects but also gave us an insight of life after college.
