Remarks

Since after completing my graduation from St. Mira's College, I started my preparation for CAT exam and had achieved 65 percentile in it. Apart from that, my academic scores had been good through out my educational journey. Coming to the selection procedure here, I had to submit all of my school certificates and personal ID's along with required mark sheets. There were several selection rounds included group discussions and an interview. I had applied for my MBA online on the official site of university and my application fee cost was 500 INR including all taxes. My college was affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My specialization was in marketing management that focused on the basics of marketing theory and its application in the current competitive environment. In my course curriculum, the need for customer relationship management and customer specific strategy were emphasized through case studies and assignments in various industrial sectors. I opted for MBA program because it was providing a better career opportunity and skill development, and that was all what I need at that time. Here I had given exceptional inputs in Academic Excellence, Interpersonal Skills enhancement, Entrepreneurship, Career Awareness, Ethics, Etiquette, and Presentation Skills, etc. The student faculty ratio was optimum over here. Professors of my college had guided me as a future management leader and have so much real life experience to pass on.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement cell of my college had consistently invited the industries for Campus recruitment drives, technical seminars, workshops and other technical sessions. Industry personnel were invited periodically to enrich the knowledge of scholars with the latest technological innovations and industry practices. Companies came for campus recruitment during my final year were SKF, KPMG, JK TYRE, WIPRO, AMDOCS, GS LABS, QUINNOX, EMCURE, BITWISE, VERITAS, etc. I had been placed as an executive marketing analyst in JK TYRE in that drive and my first CTC I got from that company was worth 6.5 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My fees structure had certain multiple elements. My annual tuition fees was worth 1,70,000 INR including all taxes, and I had to pay 20,000 INR as development fees annually. But later when I submitted my reserved category certificate here, I got my development fees back. I didn't avail for any kind of scholarship here because the fees of my MBA program was affordable and value for money according to me.

Campus Life

4.5

When I entered in my first year, college had conducted an Induction program which had helped me in getting adjusted and feel comfortable in the new environment. The program also helped me inculcate in myself the ethos and culture of the institution. There was a student council in the college which was the representative body of the entire student community of ICEM. A cultural club, anti ragging committee, alumni committee, and student curricular activity committee were also there which helped the functioning of administration and culture of college run smoothly. In addition to it, the infrastructure here was too adorable and I always felt home alike environment here.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are decent and improving every year. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Some companies that visit are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, and a few core and local companies. Average package is around 3 to 4 LPA and highest package goes up to 6 to 7 LPA depending on company and role. Around 60–70% students get placed, and others go for higher studies or off-campus jobs. College also provides training, aptitude classes, and interview practice to improve skills. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my technical skills and try for a good core or IT job.
