Remarks

College curriculum is the best. But only problem is with the scattered buildings of the college, so basically you won't have the proper campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum is very good. We have to present PPT also regarding different medical cases. They keep us busy through out the year. The exams are held after every 3 months in form of sessionals and 1 final exam in month of June. Okay, if I have you start the best thing about my college, it's the course curriculum, they have planned it so well that everything at the end will be smooth.

Placement Experience

3.5

My course is MBBS. SO there is nothing like placements. Instead we can say it prepares us well for the national level post graduate examinations like neet and aiims. They also have some tie-up with international university so they also sometimes give online lectures.

College Events

4

Okay. So the first event when you reach here would be Ganeshchaturti which is the biggest event organized by the students itself. You can have lot of fun during the Ganeshchaturti. Then comes the interclass where you can participate in various cocurricular activities. And last THE biggest event of MAHE utshav.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was 11 lakh For now but karnataka government has asked the authority of manipal university to decrease it to 8 lakh nearly. Every year they increase the fee, so when you come here it might be different. You will. Get the fee structure information the government site itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

Didn't opt for either of the two. But surely the college provides scholarships, some of my friends have been awarded some discounts. Also, you can easily get lone on the college's name and can get some benefit too, as it is AAA accredited college.

Campus Life

3

We have here a indoor stadium called MARENA. It's having all the games that you wanna play, fully AC. We have indoor basketball court too there. There we have fully equipped gym also with all the amenities that one could need. The gender ration is 1:1.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes. The first year hostel is situated in BEJAI. It's totally aloof from the the senior wing hostel which is kaprigudda. So that no child suffers any ragging and after 1 St year people are shifted to kaprigudda.

Alumni/Alumna

Don't know much, since I am only the second year student here. But surely there are some very famous doctors, to name a few Dr Devi all Sherry, Dr Ram das nayak etc.

Admission

Neet exam is conducted every year; you give the exam then according to the rank that you have got you go for the counseling ( online) if you have good enough rank you get the college seat. Then during the columcellimg you report the college the give you some stipulated time for that.

Faculty

4

The faculties are great. Some are even alumni of aiims also. They are constantly trying to make things easier for us to learn and remember them. They also organise quiz for us after every chapter covered. most of them have done there graduation and postgraduation from other top medical colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
