My college experience

The place is really polluted because of the industrial belt hostel foods could be improved as the amount of money they take us around 1500 per month. Its enough to feed a good meal rather than what is given.

Tpo cell wotkd hard to make sure maximum students gets placed but except few the packages offered and job securities are quite less. But the departmental Tpo cell works well to ensure correct job for individual.

Riviera an annual cultural and events meet comprising of dance drama and sports events and several cultural performancesPrayukti an annual tech fest with lots of oppurtunities to showcase your engineering talent annual cultural meet wher several ciltural functions occur organised by the college students.

Its around a lakh per year per semester varies around 40-48 thousand including hostel charges excluded hostel 35-40 thousand per semester. It took a total of 3 lakh and 57 thousand excluding pocket expences and mess food bill.

Loan facilities are there but a scholarship of 18000 per semester is given to meritorious needy students.

Gender ratio is around 5:1 there are 8 boys hostel of 350 capacity on average and 3 hostels for girls. Most boys stays in mess also there are plenty if mess available just near the hostel in 5 mins walk.

Hostel is good with eminent facilities its clean if yoi dont desperately make it dirty food needs a lot of attention.

This college have so great alumni some are in Barc other isro one chairman in IOC and several others scientists and managers in several posts working invaried parts if the world.

Exam structure is of 3 parts per semester in 8 semester course3 internals pattern decided by collge practicals for boards and final theory decided by the board maulana abul kalam azad University of technology formerly west bengal University of technology.

Faculties are knowledgeable and helpful sometimes harsh but for your own good. They understands how things work and prepare well for the future not only curriculum but also help in maintaining extracurriculum.
