Course Curriculum Overview

In the course of 5 years, we are taught the legal methods, sociology, law of crimes, family law, constitutional law, etc. The curriculum for BA LLB is well researched and is constantly updated. We are also taught about human rights.

Placement Experience

Many of our seniors are dong internships with the top law firms and lawyers of India. Some also have worked with human rights organizations, legal service authorities , and women commissions. The university has a strong alumni network which further helps in the recruitment process.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I submitted a total of approximately 70,000 as my first-year fee. The fee is feasible and not too expensive compared to private colleges and universities. Additional fee includes that of transportation, food, accommodation, etc.

Campus Life

There is an auditorium, discussion hall, and a meeting room where workshops and seminars are organized from time to time. The library also is well equipped with all the latest textbooks and reference material. Regularly sports and cultural events are also organized for us.

Admission

I got admission in the university through a common entrance test. The syllabus for the entrance exams covers General Knowledge including English Language. The course is of 5 years consisting of 10 semesters.

We have well-qualified faculty members with specific areas of specialization too. They have a good amount of background experience and make learning fun and interactive for us. They teach us the core concepts in an interesting manner.

Delhi University bringing a diverse opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being very passionate about law it brought me closer towards the subjects i thought I'd never like. It's vast curriculum has made me like a lot of subjects and has also given me a real life applications and further academic achievement however I feel like the curriculum should focus on law subjects from the very beginning and teaching could be improved by further interactive session between students and faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very much practical knowledge based and helps the students to grow there legal reasoning which helps them to prosper in the profession. Also it helps them to read and correlate the real time judgements being passed, this curriculum prepares the students to understand the reasoning behind the judgements. Though the curriculum is practical knowledge based it still requires many improvements as these case are old and some of them are even overruled, also the we have to write very long answers which needs to be changed as new methods like ooen text book exams can be adopted to improving.

Placement Experience:

After 2 years of integrated courses, you can become eligible for a job. In law, there is no company, but if you have good communication skills, you will be placed in one of the high courts or supreme courts under a senior lawyer. I don't know much about packages. My plan was to go to Oxford University for further studies.

Well I chose this college because it was ranked 13 in the NIRF law rankings 2021, additionally I'm a native so this seemed like a really comfortable option for me. Also, most of the law firms have their head offices in Delhi, you have your Supreme court in Delhi so technically I would have came back here for internships so why not just opt for a college here. USLLS, The delhi college life you aspire in delhi as a law student

For this course you have to qualify your 12th boards with 70% marks and you have to crack CLAT( common law admission test) there is a 75% reservation for delhi domicile students so seats for outside delhi student is 20-25, ideally your rank (for general category) should be AIR 1500-2000, CLAT is conducted once in a year and is a comprehension based paper, the admission process is usually slow it can be improved...Read More

USLLS IS NO 12 LAW COLLEGE IN INDIA

Basically, USLLS took admissions on the basis of clat score and you have to just fill the IPU University form with the application number of your clat exam and there and there is a reservation for Delhi candidates up to 85% so there is less chance for outsiders but if you have good rank in clat you can get uslls like I am outside Delhi candidate and I got that but I choose this over other colleges because of opportunities I will get here as it situated in the center of Delhi and near to NLU Delhi.
