Remarks
The reason for which I chose dtu was 1- being a government college the fees taken is much less as compared to any private college 2-has a vast scope for placement as almost every other big company visits the college 3-college environment is great and seniors are very helpful 4- talking about admission process DTU takes admission through jack Delhi based on your score in mains
Course Curriculum Overview
In DTU each year contains 2 semesters each semester having midterm and end-term examination. All the professors are highly qualified. All HOD's are also very knowledgeable and support's the student either by giving valuable information about placement or through various research projects.
Placement Experience
Almost every other tech Giants visit the campus. Students can apply for an internship at the end of 2nd year.
Fees and Financial Aid
My 1st-year fees were about 1.4 L excluding cost for books, lab eqp, etc. There is also a possibility of our fees being raised to about 2 L. DTU provides scholarships for economically backward students up to 100% (only in very rare cases while maximum student acquiring scholarship gets a rebate of about 90,000) on your total fees.
Campus Life
Campus life is great. Students are basically from Delhi, UP, Bihar, and Haryana. There's always something going on the campus whether it is band night or any function during the festival but the college main fest is Engi fest which is one of the biggest fest in North India.
Hostel Facilities
Well, to be honest hostel Condition is not great. There are 3 students living in almost every room(upto 2nd year) . The hostel mess is as great as of any other hostel.For outside Delhi students there's no problem for the availability for a hostel but due to limited seat chances for getting hostel for Delhi students is very less . Hostel's are located in the campus itself which saves u from all the time lost via traveling.
