Remarks

Even though our department is strict in grooming standards and discipline it is much good for our life. First i didn't like to be a part of it. But on the way in 1way or other it is helpful to me.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

They teach us well in our classes and take online classes in absence of working days. It makes us more improve in studies. IV's are planning in 2nd year of our studies.IV's are planned in between students and preparations are done by the college. Classes are in the top level. We get practical classes twice in a week for kitchen and housekeeping. Ppt classes once in a week. Orientation classes on first Friday of the month. So our lecturing methods are good.

Placement Experience

3.5

Yes. Many cruise companies visit our college for placements. And other hotels branches also create Skype lives for our students.

College Events

4

In our department events like tourism day, theme dinner are some of the big event. Approximately 1.5 lack budget. The external events Like theme dinner, tourism day, cleaning the society for some particular places are done by the students itself. The teachers have full support for us and guide us.

Fee Structure And Facilities

3 lack is the price for 3 year hotels managment degrees. Bank transfer is the way we gave our fees. Aur first payment we have the option to give the money straight to the college or we have the option to give in bank transfer but and 2nd sem itself we have the only option of bank to bank transfer. It is good in one way that is safer and it is good for students

Fees and Financial Aid

I first tried for study loan and paid my first fee for 1st sem. college provides scholarship for the students who were below poverty of rupees 50,000 for thier studies. For other students scholarships of rupees 10,000.

Campus Life

4.5

Our college gives opportunity for campus ineter zone sports and arts competitions. Also provide facilities for practising the games in specialized places and clubs for art students. There is no student diversity in our college. All are same under NIMIT. All are NIMITIANS. Also race, religion, sex orientation, raging, politics are also not allowed inside the college. We are all same and our lectures treat us as same. So there is no possibilities of such diversities.

Hostel Facilities

3

No iam not a hostellier. Iam a day scollar. Naturally our college provide good facilities in our college hostel. 3 or 4 students share 1 room. Good food and good accommodation. An average of 3000 is monthly fees. Students from far places opt hoste rooms. PG students are also staying in same hostel. Boys and girls have different hostels

Alumni/Alumna

They are good in their side. Good behavior towards us and help us in our beginning programmes and teach us about the rules and regulations of our college.

Admission

Its my passion and get jobs in abroad easly. I first gave my allotment in NIMIT and get here first. So i joined here. I faced an interview before our ex.director and he interviewed me. After my interview i faced interviews before our placement manager and HOD. it was a different experience for me. I got my admission in merit.

Faculty

3.5

Our lectures are very well experienced and trained. So they can teach us well. We have 6 subjects. Each having 2 lectures each. So we don't miss our classes. From 5th semester you will be eligible for campus placements. Big banks like federal bank, south indian bank provide high placement package with the highest package being 60k per month. Other IT companies like Wipro, accenture, and deloit etc also provide high package placements.Almost 50 to 75 percent of students get placed after third year. My plan is if i get a good package I'll go for the placement or else I'll go for my masters degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
