Mixed Emotions

College has been a moulding structure for me and all my friends. We were made into what we are today because of what the college has thought us We would not have reached the place we all are not if not for the college and the management that has led it to be one of the top colleges

KCET. Always interested in Computer Science, so took a related course. Entrance exam was quite challenging being from CBSE background and scored a modest 110 on 160. Rank was in 8000's and chose the best college available with the rank.

Course Curriculum was indeed a good learning and intuitive one. Of the course interesting subject like OOPS and Data Structures accompanied with more theoretical subjects like Data Mining and System Engineering. Also there were other interesting programming language subjects like Java, C# etc

Internship was great, at a reputed company in the vicinity of college campus and at ITPL. Stipend was worth what had to be paid for a student from a college of VTU.

Placements has been a great opportunity. Many companies includong TCS, Dell, L&T, HP, C42, Nokia, Sony etc have come for placements and the package ranged from 3 lac - 5 lac p.a.

We have the College Fest wherein almost every other college of VTU in Bangalore and outside the city comes and participates in various events conducted. Also we have other events like Sports Day, Leasure Day etc

Fees structure was modest and as per the standards set by the University for colleges. There were adequate services provided for the fees collected. Fees collected has been used wisely for the development of the college.

Loan facility was provided to students and college encouraged students to take loans so they that a get a moral responsibility of repayment after they get work.

We had many extra curricular activities like sports - cricket, football, volleyball, basketball with enough space for practising and playing these sports. Also we had other events such as debate competitions, essay competitions etc

Hostel was a place with the best days of college associated. Fun and festivites was an integral part of hostel life. Rents paid for the hostel was a bit above average bust still not too highly priced. The mess food was also good.

Alumni were a very integral part of the college. A group created by the alumni helped the college with the world activities evolving outside the college life. They also were an integral part in placement wherein many alumni represented companies have come for placements.

Exams were kept at frequent intervals and placed in such a way that it was neither too hectic nor too chilled out wherein every one had to be very Agilent towards these. Labs were well maintained and with all necessary equipments as per the guidelines set by the university

Faculty has always been at the top notch in the college. Their teaching has led to placements of many students in reputed companies. They have been a source of inspiration for all aspiring engineers.
