Remarks
Any management authority would have both the sides, good and bad. Neither can let everyone be happy 24*7. Likewise, mine also followed the same trend. It was more of an ambivalent management. But in the end, I would say, it gave me a new direction and a hell lot better one to take up with my life. Currently I am working in an internationally reputed MNC with a good but not satisfaction level. Credit for this is majorly contributed by my type of college life only.
Entrance Preview
I took IIT JEE and AIEEE, My AIEEE score of 185 plus 12th academics took me to get through this prestigious university across India. Like any other student, I also had this dream of completing my graduation with a reputed college which was a driving force for me to try for this particular organization.
Course Curriculum Overview
Being an Electronics & Communications student, major subjects were related to Semiconductors & devices, Computer Networking, Analog & Digital Communicaion with some mandatory language electives, C, Data Structures, VHDL, RDBMS, MATLAB, etc.
Internships Opportunities
I experienced a lot of mixed values oriented time while applying for internships. Many reputed companies came around, being one of the prestigious universities, with a good stipend offer to the students who stood up with a great deserving level. Otherwise the general stipend offered for an internship of 5-6 weeks was relatively between 10000-15000 which was a great amount to be paid to a student.
Placement Experience
The placement percentage was near about 95. The companies which all came to our campus were Microsoft, Amazon, Mindtree, Verizpn Data Services, Mahindra Comviva and so many more blooming MNCs seamlessly came on campus with a hell lot of attractive packages averaging from 5 lpa to 21lpa.
College Events
An eventful journey of four college years took many turns and showed up various new things to a student. Annually we used to celebrate Technical, Cultural and Sports fests. I used to be a coordinator in cultural fest once, Then growing up in the position level with the years passing by, I was promoted to Head Cultural Coordinator of my college with a certificate of appreciation and achievement.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was neither feasible nor expensive.Tuition fee was around 50k per semester which ended up with 4 lacs for the whole course exclusive of all other expenses.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was nothing like such called scholarships which I am known of because the scholarships, if even offered ever, were always offered by the organizations outside the campus which used to came to organize various competitions and quizzes across the campus.
Campus Life
The campus life was a mixture of good and bad things, for me at least. There were many extracurricular activities such as flash-mobs, volunteering for NGOs and orphanages, promoting social cause via nukkad natak, etc. The gender ratio was like 3(females) by 7(males). Hostel parties be like, awesomely cooked food ordered from nearby dhabas or restaurants with a great dance party. The workshops used to be the most recurring event that time, including robotics, hacking, cyber proofing, etc.People have had come from different parts of the country, also few non-citizenship students were also there from different countries. So it was more of a diversified culture with a great level of variations in ethnicity, race and religion beliefs.
Hostel Facilities
I spent my entire graduation life in a PG. The rent which I used to pay varied between 5000-8000 per month. This included my room sharing with an another girl, cooked food, stay and cleaning facilities. We used to pay separate for electricity as Air conditioners and geysers were charged from us apart from the usual electricity bill.
Alumni/Alumna
I had a great rapport with my seniors and still pursuing the same, It was so great that post 2 years of college too, we still have a great understanding and company maintained between us.Interactions with the college seniors led me to a different level of grooming as I got to meet new people and new opportunities both at career and social level.
Exam Structure
Exams were definitely damn hectic. Being an engineering student, I used to study over day and night to match my previous academic records and thankfully I was able to do that. Certainly I was a good student that time too.Coming to the labs, it used to be the most chill-out time during all four years.
Faculty
The faculty in our college were highly associated with a strong and profound educational background. Everyone out there among them was either a pass out from IITs across the country or from IIMs or from both acquiring high legendary skills in teaching and knowledge.
