Malnad college of engineering

Here comes the final part, by all these statements I think I made my point clear that Malnad College of Engineering is one of the best colleges in Karnataka. All branches have their own charm in their field. Overall malnad college of engineering is good to pursue Engineering.

Mechanical Engineering is known as mother branch of engineering, from the beginning I was passionate about mechanical engineering. The course curriculum in mechanical engineering is vast and interesting also, as malnad college of engineering is an autonomous institution we have our own examination system we have to write 3 CIEs (Continuous Internal Evaluation) and one SEE (Semester End Examination) . If we fail in SEE we will get make up SEE and we have to clear that subject in makeup examination.

Placement in malnad college of engineering is bit low in these years compared to previous years but our placement officers are trying their best to place our students by pool campus method or any other like that. We will get training about placement and other exams also. As per now we won't get any internship from our college we have to do it privately.

As the college starts the next month itself we get Saviskaar an event organised by malnad technical clud known as MTC. Saviskaar is only for first year students where we will get to perform and showcase our talents. Then comes the jambooree an event organised by Leo Club (one of the oldest clubs of MCE) then in even sem we have Malnad an event organised by Malnad Literary Club.

Under CET quota we have to pay 18000? as CET fee and 12000? as college fee. I don't know much about management seats as I am from CET quota. After that if we have any backlogs we have to pay 700? for semester registration and 500? for each backlog subject.

We will get many scholarships while pursuing our degree in malnad college of engineering such as vidyasiri and all. As per vidyasiri students who got more than 60% in their +2 can apply and will get an amount of 16000? from the Government of Karnataka itself. For backward classes there are also so many scholarships which one can apply.

Malnad college of engineering is well known in state because of its laboratory infrastructures. It had one of the best lathe machines and many other equipments that other institutions doesn't have. Coming to sports MCE basketball team is one of the best in the locality and also the football team.

I live in a rented room. But I know some small things about college hostel, boys hostel is situated in college campus itself but ladies hostel is in Vidya Nagar (around 1.5kms from college) ladies will get college bus to travel from college to hostel and vice versa. Both hostels are good in condition,food quality is also good.

MCE Alumni network is at its best right now. They'll have a alumni meet every once a year inside the campus and also once a year in United States of America as many MCE Alumni are now settled in USA. And senior students are also very friendly. MCE is one of the first colleges to ban ragging of its students inside and outside the campus also.

Once I finished my +2 I wrote CET and got 12567 ranking, after that I had to do option entry for choosing which college and course I wanted to pursue, I entered mechanical engineering in malnad college of engineering and got my seat. After that document verification process took place and I paid the fee to college and got admitted.

Malnad college of engineering is known for its faculty and lab instruments. In mechanical engineering only there are 8 PhD holders likewise in other branches also. All faculty are student friendly and they all have helping nature.
