Remarks

The management can be a little co-operative. It is a stigma for the IT guys to enjoy the college fest. As IT students are known to be studious.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As the syllabus was new, they hired new teachers for the respective subject. As it is an IT course if you miss a lecture it isn't easy to catch up with all the other students. The exam is based in the Mumbai University's exam pattern.2 unit test and 2 semester exam per year.

Placement Experience

3.5

At the end of second semester, there were different companies visit the college and giving thier respective presentation and putting up placards all over the college, conducting exams, projects etc. There was a committee too who used update us regarding internships via email.

College Events

4

Mosaic was a collaborative event, otherwise there were multiple small events, of different departments having there own fest, but since 2018 they started with a collaborative fest Mosaic. Which was a big hit in the first year itself. I was in the security committee.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is feasible. It was around 23k in the first year and till the third year it was around 28k. They accepted payment via check, cash and the net banking as well. We would get a receipt of the payment. They would ask another 500 later in the semester for journals and stuff.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, the College didn't offer any scholarships, it did but for the catholic community, and the scholarship was offered by the church.

Campus Life

4

The college is known for its sport enthusiasm. There is an annual prom fest, held in Bandra itself. There is physics chemistry and computer labs. There is no discrimination on any basis on the campus. There is strict actions for ragging as well, as per the university norms

Hostel Facilities

3

As it is a graduation college, and most of us were from within the city. I had no friends who had a rented home or was staying away from home. And there was no hostel as well. Most of them were from the western side.

Alumni/Alumna

They are helpful, there were meetings held with the alumnis who were at great position right now. And might hire someone for their company from our college and batch.

Admission

As my name was not in the list, so I visited the college and had a talk in the office, they said if any seats gets empty they will call me up, and the same happened. I recieved a call within days and my regular lectures got started. There were students who joined after me too.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is good, knowledgeable and experienced. Always read to solve queries if the question is valid. Various methods were used to make the class not boring. Seniors were made to sit with us and give us an upper hand sometimes before lecture. Teachers here hold doctorate degree as well. Some teachers are the ones who graduated from the same college. And some have been working for more than 15 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

• As I don't have maths so I have choosen this course for medical way for the future educational content and lab work. • They prepare us very good their skills and they approach in the lab practical is so good. • One one improvement as from mine is that they doesn't have some practical equipment and machinery for the working so I would like to have that to get that practical knowledge and for that they teach us theoretical for that kinds of practical. • Average the frequency and time for exam preperation is good

“The BSc CS curriculum is fairly comprehensive and covers core subjects like programming, DBMS, OS, networking and practical labs. It stays relevant for basic IT careers, though updates are slow. Overall it gives a strong foundation but needs more modern industry-oriented topics.”

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS
