Remarks

College management is improving day by day but surely this institution needs to work on its infrastructure and sports facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The syllabus for the bachelor of science is pretty fine. This college is affiliated to kurukshetra University so the syllabus and the exams are set by the university itself. Excursion trips are organised for the students. But the exams are predictable and syllabus is also quite less. It was not according to the competitive exams like JAM. It should be much more oriented for the future exams.

Placement Experience

3.5

Encentrix, wipro, Infosys are some of the companies. Companies do come for campus placements and the deserving students on clearing the different stages of the placement get selected. There is a special placement cell to make the students familiar with the selection process and guide the interested students. For the internships, not much companies are there. Mostly companies offer the jobs for the freshers.

College Events

4

Our college organises- Blood donation camps by yearCC and NSS, Cleaning drives by NSS, Camps for NSS and NCC cadets, Talent competition Youth festival, Flower exhibition Cricket matches between teaching, non teaching staff and students. Book exhibition Blood donation camps are very celebrated functions of our college in which Haryana's health minister is usually our chief guest. Youth festival is also a very big occasion for all the students around the different colleges to showcase there talent. NSS camps and NCC camps also help students to earn extra benefit in other competitive exams.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Mostly payment of fees is in cash mode and students need to stand in long queues. Along with the fees, students also need to deposit a huge fine which is imposed on them fue to their absence, fine on books, damaging equipment in lab. No additional fees are charged from the students. Their is complete transparency in the fee system.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships which are provided to the students. On the basis of there performance these scholarships are given to the students. Students fill the application form for these scholarships and then on the basis of merit as well as interview students are selected for the scholarship. There are different scholarships of 1200 per semester to 5000 per semester. One student can get benefit of only one scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

Girls to boys ration will be 7/10 Students of all the religion and caste study with hormony. Debates, quizzes, rangoli competition, model building, poster making, slogan writing really enhances one's ability to express their opinions. Many the students are from nearby villages. This college is best in ambala for students of science background.

Hostel Facilities

3

No, there is no hostel facility. Mostly the students are of the same or nearby towns. There are the facilities of PG in the nearby areas but mostly students don't need it. Mostly students have their bus passes. These students are from barara, shahazadpur, ambala city, saha, ambala cantt.

Alumni/Alumna

Something which lacks behind ij our course is absolutely the interaction between the junior and senior students. As there are no get together organised by the college mostly freshers are not able to gel up with their seniors and this persists till the end.

Admission

Admission process started with the filling the application forms. Then on the basis of the marks in the 12th standard and other quotas a merit list is published. I got my name in that and after submitting the documents and fee I was admitted into the course.

Faculty

4

Most of the lecturers are phd holders. Average age of the teachers will 45 years. There are almost 15-20 teachers for the mentioned course. The teachers of the Science department are well qualified and hardworking. The most of the teachers are quite experienced. For each subject like chemistry, physics and maths there are separate deoartments and each department has a head. Teachers are very supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a Science student , I loved my curriculum as it provides application parts with laboratories . I choose this course as I always wanted to learn more about science and its various fields. For me overall curriculum is good and have moderate level but I would suggest to reduce the syllabus little bit so that most of the students can learn whole syllabus Exams are being conducted regularly as per the University guidelines.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It really depends upon the course itself. A good curriculum includes preparing students for what's out there. Faculty here teaches the core concepts along with staying up to date with the trends and new technologies, it helps to connect the theory part with practicals. Therefore our course is relevant and comprehensive.

Curriculum is prepared well. I chose medical as i was a medical student. Curriculum is prepared in such a wau that it will help you out in the real world too. Improvement is required in the books as some of the books are out dated. Timing of exams are accurate we get enough time to prepare for the exam and difficulty level is moderate.
