College Events

3

Participation is not mandatory in any college programs but there one can always observe a substantial crowd of students whenever any functions were held. Starting from Freshers welcome to Farewell for the final year students one can experience a great many inspiring moments.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees were quite fair. We were asked to submit fees annually. As ours was a Government aided college, so we saw concessions in our fees as compared to other private institutions. Admission process was fair as far as I know. I did not observe any additional charges for admission.

Fees and Financial Aid

Swami Vivekanada scholarship, National scholarship portal, Oasis, Aykashree scholarship, Indian Oil scholarship, For meritorious students university given special scholarship, and many private scholarship also given

Campus Life

3.5

Campus was decent sized. Gender ratio was about 1:1 perhaps favouring males a tad more. Labs were also good but could do with some more and better working instruments. Students of many race and religion studied here. All in all the college is fair in all counts.

Alumni/Alumna

We have many notable alumni spread out all over the world as we heard from our teachers. Our seniors were also very helpful.

Admission

I heard from my tutors that this is a good college. I was always fond of physics more than any other subjects. After 12th final exam, we had filled up admission form and merit list was generated by the college, according to which we were asked to attend counseling and then were admitted.

Faculty

4

The teachers were good and fairly helpful, some more than others. Although the number of faculty was never much. Permanent teachers are few and there efforts in teaching are quite appreciated, where the guest lecturers did also justice in teaching us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum in this college is uoto date, very relevant and with at par with the real world scenario, we learn about disorders, different schools of psychology and a lot more. There is a perfect balance of practical and theory, which is needed in psychology. In terms of improvement, there is always room for it, as of now there arent any suggestions from my side. The frequency of exams are fine, they give us time to prepare however I feel like as, according to the NEP, the semesters should be 6 months long but here they are cutting it short.
