Remarks

Not really. I did not have any bad experience there except the lack of professional knowledge i got from the faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum is very basic and nothing professionally you will learn here in the academics unless and until you learn by your own. Research work is now given preference here, when i was in last year, the trend of research papers was given the boost. But, honestly there were rarely a faculty who would help you in it, again it is all you who needs to do everything by their own. I still regret that i should have learnt more by not depending upon the curriculum and academics.

Placement Experience

3

During my placement period, the companies that participated were- Wipro, Techaspect, Orange business services. So, it was quite good for the strength we had in our session. There were three rounds in the placement process - aptitude, techincal written, technical interview and hr round. In our session they had hired a private firm to help crack the aptitude round and to prepare for interview round. Package was not that good

College Events

4.5

There are two fests participated here- Titiksha(technical fest) where willing universities/colleges take part in various events like robowar etc. There is another fest called Resurgence which is cultural fest where various games (indoor and outdoor) are played between different houses and also compete over dance, singing etc. And at the end of the resurgence, one House having maximum pojnts takes over the trophy.

Fee Structure And Facilities

At my time it was very feasible in comparison to other institution except the government universities/colleges. It was approximately 1.10lakhs per year including hostel and mess fee which was mandatory as it is a residential University. Mode of payment was through bank challans. And fee structure was transparent.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, only for first 3 top ranked students in a sem gets the scholarships and i donot know what was the sum they provided.

Campus Life

4

I would say it was excellent in lab facilities, auditorium, environment, living, sports complex, diversity in all aspects. There are mountains all around, if i would get a chance to go back relive the course i would definitely do it again. Great in all aspects expect some lack in faculty proefficiency.

Hostel Facilities

3

Yes, there was only one problem in hostels, it was of washrooms. Rooms were quite good. In 1st year one has to choose for double or triple sharing and for rest of the years we have the option single room or in case shortage there might be the possibility of double or triple sharing.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are helpful. Whenever i tried to reach out to them for any reason they were always ready to help and guide us.

Admission

Through my talent its a nice college for study nad for social networksThere is many nice teacher There studests are very nice There is many popular teachers and very intellegent and hardworking with excellent skills

Faculty

3

I can only comment on computer science department where I found no good faculty member except one or two. They had no prior expertise except the holding experience of teaching the same thing again and again. I could not learn anything related to skill.

Placement Experience:

Our institute has a placement call, and it helps the students acquire jobs in the industry. Many top companies like Wipro, L and T, and NVIDIA visit our campus, and it provides jobs in every field from Information Tech. to Material-related jobs. Here job opportunities are for every branch. Recently in one day 30-40 students got placed at an average package of 10 LPA. Most of the opportunities are for CSE and IT students as it goes for every institute and some companies like GAIL, and IOCL. BARC gives internship opportunities to chemical branches too. The core branches like Electrical and Mechanical also perform well in the placements. From the 7th semester, placement opportunities are given to the students. Highest package 40 LPA and median package 10 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Good things is that they offer minor courses for us where we can choose extra courses which we may find interesting and yaa not only that interdepartment projects can also be chosen which is very strange but don't seems relevant.curriculum earlier they were following of iit Delhi and new curriculum is not very exact and relevant because sometimes there are some unnecessary courses and no point of learning that course which forcefully imposed on us to take this course as it comes under institute department courses and are mandatory which is not so good

Placement Experience:

I think the students become eligible for placements after 6 th semester, if you are from CS / IT then you'll get enough opportunities for yourself... I know 8-9 seniors who have grabbed a pretty decent package from companies like Oracle If somehow you fail to get recruited on campus then i guess the off campus option is open for all I am pretty satisfied with the placement record atleast for IT The percentage placement for this year CSE was 51 considering recession part this seems good to me
