Review of my college

Just the paper evaluation it could be so much better if they are done properly. I am not judging anyone because I don't know what happens in there but I know it is unfair because I failed a paper which I wrote well and it happened with so many people.

The course structure is really good but the faculty is not that good as it a government college. The exam curriculum is good but the corrections procedure is the worst, there are many internal politics which leads to students who fail their exams even though they write well.

Our department gets very less core companies and it was our seniors struggle that we get a bit more as every year goes on. I just hope that by the time we reach placements we get good companies. Our college does provide internship I guess but I don't know any of the details so I don't know about the stipend either.

There are many events celebrated in our college like freshers, science fair, ganesh chaturti, lohri, teacher's day etc. and also sports week which lasts about 3-4 days. Mainly for hostlers, every cultural event is celebrated like Holi, Krishna janmashtmi, ganesh chaturti, navratri and many more.

Academic fee is 12000 per year as it is a government college. People with scholarship need not pay that too. Hostel fees are different we have to pay mess bill every month. this is the fee structure in JNTUH.

There are scholarships available for students with good merit and parents not from a government job background. They are e- pass etc. As my father is government employee I don't have access to any kinds of scholarships so I don't know much about them.

We have a subject or a lab every semester regarding gender sensitization, environment and other subjects to improve our character and develop us into better students. So they are good but it seems like students only attend classes for attendence and if there are no credits to the subject they don't even care about them which is sad.

We get charged 1700 per month as mess bill. We pay 10000 as hostel deposit in the beginning of the year. Hostel rooms are not bad. They are not too bad to live and not too lavish. The food is average. Hostel rooms are few so the rest of them have to live outside in pgs I don't know about them.

Yes, I recently got to know about our alumni association they help us in finding internships and projects. They also guide us with anything if we approach them. They also conduct workshops for us students such as how to make an impressive resume etc.

I got admission through JEE mains entrance exam. I had 3 options to select the course that is CSE, ECE and Civil but I choosed CSE because I love programming and this college is better in CSE department. The admission process was quiet easy, I filled a form and handed all the important documents and at last paid fees.

We have qualified faculty but they are not that good in teaching us. So we just have to adjust and prepare on our own. I don't know about other departments faculty this is what I know from my department.
