Remarks

St. Andrew's College is a very good college for students who like to take part in various cultural and sports events as the college provides the students with the opportunity to do so. The college also has a dedicated entrepreneurship cell that helps and encourages students to become entrepreneurs.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is quite good and relevant. It places a focus on current events and teaches us about the latest laws and structures. The exams are held after every 6 months months and isn't very stressful.

Placement Experience

3.5

Yes, the college offers placement and job opportunities to students of the final year. The college has a dedicated placement cell which conducts programs where various companies conduct interviews and provide potential jobs to candidates. I don't know the names of the companies which have come to our college.

College Events

4

Various cultural, technical and sports events are conducted in college. Some of the big events of our college are Mosiac, jhankaar, holio, etc. Mosiac is the main fest of our college. The participation in this event is huge and students from various colleges come to attend this event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is feasible and quite simple. The fees of the entire year have to be paid at the beginning of the year. The fees have to be paid online through onfees. The fees are quite feasible and also refundable through some scholarships.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has scholarship for students from religious minorities of our country. The students can apply for the scholarship by submitting an online form provided by the college after submitting required documents.

Campus Life

2.5

The extra curricular activities in the college is quite good. The college takes part in various inter college and university based events like sports, drama, music, etc. The college conducts many inhouse events to promote talents of their students.

Alumni/Alumna

I haven't had any person interaction with any alumni of the college as of yet, but I have met and and have been introduced with alumnus of the college during various programs and fests held by the college management.

Admission

I applied for the college online and collected the form and prospectus from the college, and submitted the form. I got admission when my name appeared in the merit list. There were a total of 3 merit lists and my name appeared in the 3rd list.

Faculty

3

The faculty of the college is quite varied. There are teachers with more than 25 years of experience as well as new and young teachers. The teachers are well trained and look quite interested in teaching. They also hold knowledge and teach us about things other than the syllabus.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements typically begin in the 5th or 6th semester, depending on the college's policy, with eligibility requirements like a minimum GPA. Companies like motilal , toothsii, and various startups often visit for recruitment. The number of offers made varies by college and course, with 30-40 companies visiting for a batch of 100 students.

The average salary per year ranges from 6-7LPA and the highest package is around 13LPA a year. 70 percent of the students get placed through the college every year . I personally plan to pursue MBA as my post graduation thats why i will not be opting for college placements

Course Curriculum Overview:

You get direct in-house admission for Bcom if you're a junior college student at dahanukar. The curriculum is enough to prepare us for the exam however outdated it is. The syllabus needs to change the teachers need to be changed and also the management should be updated. The college requires a dynamic approach rather than a slow and less productive one. The exams are conducted semi annually and their difficulty is quiet manageable.

The average salary package is around 3.5 LPA. The top companies which offered placement are HDFC bank, Accenture, TCS, and Infosys. You get the placement if you got more than 80 % in any course or category. I have planned to do a CA course after completing my degree course.
