Remarks

An overall good college that is improving daily. It has an amazing infrastructure and state of the art lecture halls and conference halls. Laboratories are specific to each subject and facilitate application based learning.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The lab was very clean and The teachers are very carfull to teach the experiments to the students in the lab time the experiment was performed in half an hr in the remaining time we will write the experiments

Placement Experience

5

As a MBBS student, a year long internship is compulsory and inclusive in your course. Here we are taught the basics of being a doctor, from patent interactions, emergency surgeries, basic life support and all other skills necessary for a practicing clinician.

College Events

4

The college is multicultural and celebrates most traditional festivals and also conducts yearly sports competitions and cultural which welcomes all students to showcase their abilities. It promotes team spirit and a positive attitude towards sportsmanship.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college follows a government laid fee structure where we pay 1 lakh per annum for tuition fees. And based on the number of subjects each year the examination fee varies. It starts at around 3k per subject for the examination.

Fees and Financial Aid

For people belonging to the MBC category and the SC/ST category there are annual scholarships that are available. These are based on your family's annual income and affordability to the present fees.

Campus Life

5

Multiple workshops take place, and a yearly cultural programme takes place. It's a very liberal college but follows a strict dress code. Formal wear for men and salwar kammez for women. On special occasions these are excused.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Good infrastructure. A vegetarian mess. Yearly 1800 Rupees with a 10 k caution deposit. The mess fees is 3k every month. Three members per room with proper and clean common washrooms. Has a ground for physical activities, a recreational room and a gym in progress. Separate for boys and girls.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are always helpful and provide utmost guidance on how to prepare for exams and also with the clinical postings. The provide their expertise which they have gained from experience. They assist when it comes to quiz competitions and intercollege programmes and are approachable and easy to interact with

Admission

This being a Central government run college, admits students based on their scores in NEET- The medical entrance examination. I had to go through a general counselling process where we were given options to choose colleges based on our ranks.

Faculty

5

The faculty of our college have good knowledge in their specific field and help the students to do future studies on that subject. Faculty are friendly in clearing thr doubts on and off campus with good cooperation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.
