NIT H is little isolated from industries. As it is located in hilly areas reaching here is quite a task specially who comes form plains as they may suffer from motion sickness. This is a reason placement here is less as it should have been. NIT have been awarded for most beautifull nit campus in India. As it lies in. Foothills of Himalayas. Campus is full of greenery.

I think course curriculum here is pretty good. There is nothing special about it. More focus is given tho theory. But one thing I like about it is that it covers all the topic which would help in exams GATE. And rest there is nothing special. There are mid semester exam which carry 30 marks and end semester which carry 50 marks and rest 20 are internals. Every week there is a atlast 3 lab which are of 3 hrs.

Placements and job opportunities are not that much good as compared to top iits and top nits though this nit ranking is 11-12 varying every year but yes almost every student got placement and some student get also get placed off campus which are based on his capability. No college is not providing internship. Students do internship on their own outside of campus.

I receive three scholarships. 1) EPASS scholarship given by government of Telangana which reimburses the entire annual fee of the college. 2)National Merit Scholarship by Indian government. 3) Sankshema Charitable Trust. I didn't use any loans for my studies so far.

Gender ratio here is less in first year there are 700 boys and 300 girls. I have opted for hostel, though this colleges is established in 1986. So the hotel are good and new stuffs are there. And the mess hygiene and food quality so much good. I recommended hostel because hostel life is also have so much new experiences and memorable throughout your life. Room accommodation of 4 peples for btech in all year exept final year have single room. No PG facilities are available inside campus.

Teachers are very helpful, well qualified and also have great teaching skills for imparting knowledge to the students. The student-faculty ratio is 30:1. Faculty are too good and supportive, but you have to be in discipline manner because they are post graduate through iits or nits or highly reputated colleges. Afterall faculty teaches us many things which are not in books but very useful in daily life problems.
