Entrance Preview

Gate, 91.68 percentile, good college. Due to all India entrance exam I am eligible to all colleges in India. I tried different colleges in India and I got seat in sgsits Indore.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was good in that time. I have studied control system, digital signal processing, power electronics, drives, microcontroller, mathametics, electric drives, etc. I was class topper. My favourite subjects was control system, microcontroller, power drives

Internships Opportunities

If we qualified GATE exam we will get 5k money. I was happy with 5k. If we get stipend from GOI then we are not eligible for other stipend.So I never tried for stipend from compines. Stipend helped me a lot.

Placement Experience

M.Tech students having less chances in placements compared to B.Tech. In my college 300 members placed out off 800.Companies are TCS, Infosys, sathyam, wipro, IBM, atos origin, kanbay, lg, etc.

Fees is Very less 15k per year.

Faculty was excellent. 90 % faculty had PhD degree.They are busy when they dealing with private projects. So when professor is available we should go to class.If we listen class, no need to open the book at home. I was very impressive with those professors.

The placement starts coming at the end of 6th sem or beginning of 7th. You can expect around 15-20 companies to visit. Recently there have been visits by carwale, quantiphi, cognizant, Cape Gemini, Infosys, Kfintech, TCS. All of them had their packages in the range 6-8 lpa. Highest packages reach around 20LPA for a handful of students as one of a good company might visit Like Intuit, Zscaler, Deustche Bank While obviously some students crack off camps and recieve even better options 60-70 percentage of students can get placed here My plans are doing Masters incase I don't get a good enough job.

There are lots of student apply for placements once in a time few got placed but company like tsc capgemeni took mass hiring from college. In 7 or 8 semesters students was allowed to sit in placemnet. Studnets are placed in company got joinning in short perioud of time abd they also provide offer letter to them. The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

I have applied to many nits and I got seat in NIT bhopal in electronics and communication branch. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed.
