Course Curriculum Overview

The course curricular is good enoughto follow. We have exam at the end of each year.Each paper has 100 marks paper. We follow the old curriculum while the new curriculum is followed by our junior batch. The new curriculum is based on skills and knowledge based while our is memory based

Placement Experience

We do not have any placements or jobs has it is a medical college. Each person pursue their career after their degree and some work in corporate hospital or have their own clinic. We do have a compulsory internship which every medical student has to complete in their respective college. The stipend is very less though we are qualified doctors our stipend is way less than a labour.

Admission

NEET entrance. Got through KEA counselling after qualifying NEET

Faculty

The college faculty is very helpful and good enough. Most of the faculty qualifications is MBBS and have done their PG in their respective subject. They are always helpful in studies and also in making the cases easy to understand.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

The latest curriculum is good and easy for students . I dreamt of becoming a doctor and thus achieved through my parents support and my hardwork(cracking NEET) So course is of 4.5yrs + 1yr of internship total 5.5yrs You get 30000/month as stipend for 1year internship

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have internals once in around 3 months and we have yearly final exams. The average of the three internals is added to the final marks to declare the results. The exams are of average difficulty. Not too difficult to pass.

Placement Experience:

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.

Life as a medical student

I had applied to BMC, MS Ramaiah, KIMS, Bowring , Akash and Subbaiah. I didn't get into BMC, KIMS, MS Ramaiah and Bowring due to my NEET score. I didn't opt for Subbaiah since it was far from Bangalore and I had to stay in hostel if I went there. I didn't go to Akash because it was a new college back in 2020 with no passed out batches. Vydehi accepts NEET and admission is through KEA. If you have attained eligibility in NEET you can avail a seat in management quota too....Read More

A very good college if you want to excel in your studies and career

Admission process is very easy.Admission cell is active in the college at the time of admissions Eligibility of the course is a pass inScience stream in 12th with biology in it. All the application details are found in the college website, Filling of the application form will have to be done in offline mode.
