Course Curriculum Overview

Nirma provides a very good curculim structure, it helps the students in preparing them according to what the industry requirements are. Yes there were very frequent test in every 1.5 month( Class Test, Midsem and then the final semester ) it Also includes lab exams. It was neither hectic nor chilled overall it was good.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities are good almost about 80% of the batch receives job before graduating and rest are also placed within 3 months of graduation. Companies like Reliance, Jubilant Life Sciences, Hindustan Unilever limited comes to the campus for placement.

College Events

CHESA Day is the day which is celebrated by chemical department students every year, it is state level event.NUTECH is a huge event and national level event people from all over the country comes to attend this program.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive. For 1 semester the fees is about 75000 for the 2015 batch and it keeps on increasing each and every year. For the batch of 2019 the fees was around 89000. So overall it is very expensive when compared to other colleges.

Hostel Facilities

No I have not opted for the hostel it was exclusively for the Management students MTech students and Law students for undergraduate students there was no facility of hostel but the average rentals according to me were very less.

Admission

I got admission through JEE Mains merit list. Since chemical sector is a booming sector so I decided to pursue chemical engineering.

Faculty

The faculties in chemical engineering department are highly qualified they had done their masters from very renowned universities and also phD under great professor from IIT, NIT. They have such a clearance of the subject that students would love attending their classes.

Placement Experience:

In our college, 100% students get placed every year. After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Some students want to get into higher studies and some want to get off-campus placements. Many companies like google, motorola,crest comes to take interviews. My plan is to get into higher studies abroad after getting degree.

Placement of my college is decent enough as per NITs. From 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Micron, GE Healthcare, Visa, MasterCard and more visited and offer 6 to 7 candidates depending on requirement. Highest package is 57 LPA in CSE branch and 35 LPA in ECE branch. In CSE Placement percentage is 94% and in ECE it is 84%. I will go for College placements and will give government exams and GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester,the students are eligible for the placement cells.As we all know that first step for the placement is The Aptitude test and later on the interview and technical skills. Companies like TCS,Micron,TCS Ninja,Juspay,Samsung, Microsoft and many more. The highest placement from the college is 31LPA and the average package of the college is 3LPA to 4LPA. The students placed every year around 60-65 %.

Placement Experience:

The placement in by branch are good enough in last year 2024 a student got package of nearly 42 lakh per year from computer branch. The average package in computer branch is nearly 10 to 12 LPA . Different companies visits our college to give placement to the students. The major companies ask about the students who have 8 + CGPA . Students become eligible from the 7th semester itself for campus placements. The collge gives perfect data of the student who are placed in different different companies.in year 2023 88% of the students were succcessufully placed in companies.Including all branches average package was of 7 LPA but for computer science students the average package was 10 to 12 LPA.In petrochemical branches the highest package was 24 LPA . and average package was nearly about 6.5LPA.The IT companies such as Google , Microsoft, Reliance , TATA visiits the college to give placement to the students of computer science.The total of 550 +students got the offer from various companies from all branches of btech and nearly 175 companies visited to the campus of the collegeAfter i get the degree the college pdeu i wil do the job for 2 to 3 years in some good companies after that my plan is to do startup means i want to start my buissness such as making an app , etc.. In PDEU the number of students getting placed are good enough even students getting good offcampus packages than oncampus becaus the student become capable of doing work or finding good work. There are some of the students not getting the jobs on campus they try offcampus and thy get the job.

The college do have placements offers with many companies in the world and even the most popular companies like google, Facebook, And many more. Many students don't get the opportunity as it only offers to those students who are good in there own field. Normally students become eligible for campus placements From 6th semester. Placement Experience:

Our college is hub for placement and almost 450++ small and big companies come here to hire student. Student will be eligible for placement in thier last year of degree. Few name to mention which company comes TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Assar, etc many more. For our branch 90% student got placement and overall of college 60% got placed. My plan after degree is placement.

Reality of Nirma University

I gave my JEE Mains Exam in 2021 and i also appeared for various exams like VITEEE and BITSAT. I got selected in VIT Vellore under Computer Science domain. I also got selected in MIT WPU Pune under Electronics and Communication. The reason i chose this college is for its extensive infrastructure and placement records. I looked for Return of investment rather than how high the average placement is. Nirma also good at Education?? Or only at washing powder ??

My first choice is LD Engineering college, ahmedabad. LDCE is best for Mechanical, electrical students thats why I applied there but LDCE doesn't have much seats on JEE quota so I doesn't make it . Rather than LDCE I applied for PDEU and I Got ICT there but I Choose Nirma mechanical over PDEU ICT , because PDEU's culture is not good , Not much difference between placements of Nirma Mechanical and ICT of PDEU ....Read More
