Course Curriculum Overview :

Our English curriculum is very vast and lengthy. We have to work so hard to get good marks. Scoring good marks is not so easy in my course.No practical subject is necessary for my course. We had only theory papers.

Placement Experience :

The placements and job opportunities were not that good in our college. Our college does not provide any internships and no companies visit our college for job opportunities and placements. Post-graduation students can apply for jobs.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The great thing about our college is that our college fees were so less and it was very beneficial for the students. Students can able to pay the fees without asking for any educational loan or scholarships.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships were provided to backward students and also to all the class toppers in each class. I received a scholarship once as I stood first in graduation in our English department. Educational loans were also provided.

Campus Life :

After every class, we used to visit our college indoor stadium to play so indoor sports activities with friends and seniors. It was really great fun and I enjoyed it a lot. These were the great days of my life.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel infrastructure was good. As there were fewer students so the hostel maintains well hygiene in cooking foods and cleanliness all around the hostel. There were no PG's for the students in our college.

Admission :

I never appeared in any entrance examination for pursuing a graduation course. I passed my higher secondary in Arts having 66% of marks and then I decided to take admission in B.A in English honors in this college.

Faculty :

All were talented faculties. They were brilliant and so honest that we never face any difficulty in our courses. All types of study materials were provided to us and if there is any doubt or confusion regarding subjects we can ask for their help.

Get into SJCC

Placement Experience:

After the 4th semester we would be eligible for campus placements and we will be having internship during the end of 5th semester. I got into a digital marketing company for my internship period of 1 month at Pixel Boho ,my friends also got internship in Big company's like Flowers TV, Mythri productions ,Beylim etc. most students Get placements and for me ,my plan was to go to film industry so after my degree I went on an internship at the Chithranjali studios in trivandrum and Now I am currently an Editor of a feature film.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before I'm joining the course, I had many expectations but after 3 semesters the syllabus started becoming useless and complicated. There are many topics in the syllabus which is not have to study. It's like 40% main topics and the rest are stuffed for nothing.
