Good college to opt for

Syllabus has been scripted with the holistic view of Mathematics as a discipline. Various sub-domains like algebra, geometry, co-ordinate geometry, mensuration, differential equations are covered in depth as a part of syllabus. Examinations are held semester wise manner with short-term internal tests and assignments being conducted regularly.

Placement and recruitment are managed well by the college and calls in decent number of firms to visit for campus placement each year. Average package of around 2.4 lpa can be expected in the campus drive. For better opportunities one have to make efforts on their own. Internships are to be managed on by the students on their own.

Fees for the entire course duration is Rs 62,000. The amount is required to be submitted annually in the form of annual academic fee which includes tuition fee, library fee, overall development fee etc.

Scholarships are offered by Tamil Nadu state government to meritorious and needy students who are domicile of the state. scholarship for students who are original resident of the state of Tamil Nadu only. Scholarships are also offered for students sports or other cultural activities.

Extra-curricular activities are managed by various cells or clubs in the college who ensure involvement in various activities for students however they are not compulsory. This clubs also manage celebrations like Pongal celebration, Republic Day celebration and annual fest celebration in the college. Infrastructure wise the college is maintained very well and is very well equipped.

I made an application to this college based on my percentage of marks obtained in 10+2 level that is mostly the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics marks. Percentage wise shortlisting for various programs are done. After shortlisting of the name admission formalities begin were students are required to submit the necessary documents for verification and the fee for the first year of the program.

Faculty in our college is decent I cannot say that they are very good or very bad. Their teaching methodologies are ok however the rush for completing the syllabus takes over their mind. This hampers very purpose of education.
