Remarks

This university was established in the year 2007. It has around 191 affiliated colleges. It is approved by UGC and accredited by NAAC with B grade. UG, PG and research courses are available. The campus is clean and green.

Course Curriculum Overview

B tech courses available are electrical and electronics, electronics and communication, computer science. MBA courses are general, travel and tourism. BBA+MBA course of 5 years, Msc, MA, MCA, MSW, Phd,Mcom are available.

Placement Experience

Job opportunities are in the field of civil services, teaching, research, management, engineering, banking and finance, travel and tourism etc. Placements for b tech students are average and for CS students its good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is quite affordable. B tech fee is about 50000 per annum. Scholarships are also provided by the government. Infrastructure of the college is good. Hostel and mess are also good and charges are affordable.

Various days like yoga day, teacher's day, independence day, republic day etc are celebrated. Labs are properly maintained. Many clubs are there which organize various events throughout the year. People from different religions and castes take admission in this college.

Admission

I got admission into b tech course in this college on the basis of JEE Main score. One has to show all the intermediate certificates and marksheet with required marks to complete the admission process.

The faculty members are cooperative and helpful. They are well qualified in their respective subjects. They help the students to organize seminars, workshops and cocurricular events of dance, music, painting etc.

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
