LTIADS and my journey with them

This institute has a state-of-art faculty group who keep updating themselves as well as the students with the modern technological advances in then field even though the curriculum stays the same it doesn't feel old at all. The alumni network is strong so that you don't have to worry about ending jobless.

The curriculum followed here is of the Mumbai University, which dates back to many years. It could be revised but the staff here teach us with modern examples which keeps us in the track so that we don't get outdated.

During the eighth semester we are supposed to do an internship/on site training which is a lead for job opportunities. Placements, as of now, is less at the institute but the alumni of the institute help us by recommending us to their companies/firms.

Cultural event named Chrysalis is organized at the starting of the even semesters. Debates are organized in a regular basis. Freshers are treated with a grand party at the starting of their academic year.

The fee per year is about Rs. 1,50,000 (Five years). Students who couldn't pay this fee at one time can pay in installments in the period of two years or avail educational loan from any centralized banks.

The institute directly does not provide any scholarships. But, the students who have a good academic record are given a scholarship by the Mumbai University. Students can also avail educational loans.

The institute organizes a sports events every year by bringing in qualified professionals they conduct games for a day or two. Labs are well-equipped for design classes. The institute conducts debates and other such fun activities for the students.

Alumni here help us by giving guidance in both academics and job hunts. Most of the students go for specialization in their field while the others go for jobs which they might get through seniors or through the internships they have attended.

I cleared my NATA and boards with a 60 %. Merit list is based on the cumulative score of these both exams. But the college also has institutional quota with a very limited amount of seats for students who haven't attended NATA.

The faculty hub is well-qualified, even with experience as professionals in the field. They teach us with the experiences they have had during their projects. They are unbiased towards the students and are very approachable.
