Entrance Preview

Online Entrance exam is conducted every year by manipal university which I took. Manipal university has the best faculty and study environment and also the best academics. It consistently named in top ten medical university in india. which made me to select this college for my medical carrer.

Internships Opportunities

Internship period is for one year where a minimum amount of patients and surgeries is to be attended. I had to handle many emergency patients, see opd patients, assist and perform many cases in operation theatre. stipend was paid by government which was 10000/- per month which was adequate comparing other states.

Placement Experience

After passing medical college, most of the student study for post graduate entrance examination. all most all my batch mates got selected in that exam and now they are specialist in their field.

College Events

Each year one college fest, one university fest is conduct where each year student participate. Manipal university has almost 15 colleges which take part in the festival sponsored by various companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are specifically not available for the college but I took education loan from SBI Bank, manipal branch which was instantly approved by the manager as I was manipal university student.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life was excellent. mens hostel weren't had and curfew time. Womens hostel had curfew time from 9 PM. Male to female ratio was 60:40. there is football sadium, cricket stadium, badminton court, tennis courtbasketball court, state of art Indoor stadium, squash roomSwimming pool T.T. room, Carom Room etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostels are one of the best comparing any medical college in india. AC and Non AC rooms are available. cleaning staff is available round the clock. being a private medical college, fee is much higher. when I was a student, fees was 2 lakh per year which c

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were very helpful and they are the first person who will help you while in clinics and during examination. Ragging was banned at my college so I had no problem with my senior. Even after passing, I am in constant touch with them. they still help in my career and achieve my goals.

Faculty

4.5

Manipal university has the best faculty and study environment and also the best academics. At the beginning of each year student is given a detailed classes schedule for entire year which is compulsarly followed by teacher. teaching is like spoon feeding.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
