Course Curriculum Overview

4

Btech course curriculum of this college is good, the course curriculum they follow is approved and is of good standard. They have internal exams as well as semester exam. The course is divided into 8 semester. As chemical engineering we have more lab classes and they are very important for us and they are even helpful.

Placement Experience

4

Placement facility are available in our college. They even make us prepare for campus placement and give us guidance and training to clear those. There are not much but job opportunities are available. Internships are not provided by them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee of our course per annum is 75000 rupees. Fee is feasible to students. Fee for first year will be little extra and for second, third and fourth year tution fee is same. Examination fee is extra and as to be paid when semester exams are scheduled. There are other fee and those are to be paid as and when taken.

Campus Life

4

There are many extra curricular activities organised in our college. We have many festivals organised, cultural events, seminars, documentation, lecture, debates etc. There are different societies of cultural, sports etc. Labs of our college are well equipped with modern equipments.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are hostel facilities in our college. The hostel are separate for both boys and girls. The hostels are equipped with necessary things. We have shared rooms, study rooms, sports facilities, etc. Mess is available with good and hygienic food.

Alumni/Alumna

We don't have any alumni association. College must focus on this area and try to organise events so that students get their guidance and focus on their career goals and find what opportunities they have.

Admission

Admission to this college was done based on management quota. They have 50% seats for management quota and it was done under that. After filling online form I had gone for interview and produced all my original documents after that I got admission. In 10+2 we must have atleast 45% with subjects such as physics, maths and chemistry.

Faculty

4.5

Our faculty are very well educated, all have good background. They are very supportive to us, our faculty help us in guiding for future steps. They guide us to concentrate on education and solve our problems. They hold good degrees from various good institutions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very old and must be improved to be on par with the ever expanding new technologies. I took this course, since I have a passion in programming. But there are various subjects which are minimal to no - relevant towards my department, which is IT. Chemistry, Chemistry Lab, Physics, Physics lab, Maths ( even though some parts of maths and physics is needed, it can be joined with the other programming subjects so that only things that are specifically necessary are being teached and both, being a seperate subject is unnecessary ), Engineering Graphics, Engineering Mechanics, Mechanical, Civil, Mech Lab, Civil Lab, and all other non-credit subjects ( if there is no credit, why studying ? ). And can include more subjects revolving around various programming languages such as, C++, C#, Kotlin, React, etc.

I really love automobiles, that was the main reason behind my decision to opt for mechanical engineering. Most of the aspects about machines and engis where covered as part of the subject. One who want to learn more about a subject has the opportunity to opt for minor in that subject.

Placements are offered here but for now its really bad. College have a placement cell. Usually a lot of company used to come and take 100s of graduates. This year hits different. Placements were really bad this year. Avg package provided is also low. RS 5.5LPA was the highest and 4 LPA is the avg salary for placed students.
