Course Curriculum Overview

curriculum is very well structured. It is a quite a old college and they are keep updating the course. normally a day in college is not very hectic. The major exams are taken semester wise. there are two minor exam in a semester.

Placement Experience

3.5

it is a medical institute and there is not a big scene of placements. Mostly students are planning or preparing for their post-graduation. Although some drug companies do come to offer jobs to the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

TO be clear fees structure is not economical. Fees for lab, lecture fees and all other charges are taken in a single instalment at the begging of the academic year. Fees for the first year is around 5.8 lac including one tome charges. From the second year, it is around 5.6 lac. fees are excluding hostel charges

Campus Life

4

college infrastructure is very well built and look very modern and beautiful. All the facilities are very well maintained and are up-to-date. The overall atmosphere is very good.student are helpful in nature. This is a ragging free campus.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

hostel facility is available. the hostel is very well built and has all the facilities. All the facilities including central laundry, 24hrs security, playing area and hostel are completely wifi enabled. There is also a garden.

Admission

i decided to do MBBS after my 12th. I prepared for NEET and appeared in the exam. The admission is given on the basis on of both 12th marks and NEET percentile. Combining both of the marks they make merit list. one have to score minimum of 50% in Physics ,chemistry, biology.

Faculty

4

Faculty of the college is very good, in fact you can say this college has one of the best faculty. They have very qualified and experienced lecturer/Doctors. They also have guest lecturer. Teachers are very polite and helpful in nature and they will help you with all the difficulties you will face in your college life.

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way. The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .
