Course Curriculum Overview

There were elective decided at the start of the session. The main electives were Foreign language (French, Spanish and German), Finance( Behavioural finance/ Portfolio management), Marketing (Brand Management/ Cultural Behaviour), Financial Techniques using computer.

Internships Opportunities

I received the internship in the Aditya Birla Group- Grasim Textiles with a monthly stipend of Rs 20000 and paid holiday for 3 days at a 4 start hotel in north India.My project was Product Planning at different retails outlets of Grasim through out India.

Placement Experience

The job placements were excellent with all the eligible candidates getting placed before the end of the session. The average Salary package was 7.5 lacs pa.I got placed in two companies abut chose the one with a preference of location.

College Events

The college used to organise the management fest En Masse which used to witness the participants from all over the MBA instututes.The fest was held for 3 days which comprised of Management as well as Cultural events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The College has one of the best ROI in the country with a fee Rs 50,000 per semester. This used include all the fees for the seminars and the visits for guest lectures organized by the students out side the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was couple of scholarship provided to the meritorious students based on the performance of students in the examination.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has one of the greatest alumini network with many of them at the top of the positions like CEO /Presidents/ MD.The alumini dinner used to help us engage with our alumini who used to help us during the placements.

Exam Structure

The exam were held on semester pattern with two internal exams with a weightage of 70:30 ratio. The internal exam used to have 30 % weightage for the assignments and attendance also.

Faculty

The Faculty was great. They were walking encyclopedia in terms of knowledge and always ready to help to students. The Faculty were highly experience with most of them Phd holder.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Truth about jims kalkaji

Placement Experience:

The unique selling point of this college would be placement. Big companies come here for hiring and take a bunch if students among them, the students who have completed their first year are eligible to sit in placement Companies like Delloite, Black Rock, loreal, Federal Bank, MRF, and many more visit every year for placement with an average package of 8 to 9 lakhs. The highest package one student got is 33 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is 80-100 percent, depending on the time. My plans after my degree are the same as many students to get placed in a good company with a good package

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

I choose this college because it is india best commerce college. It was my first preference and I got it. To take admission in this college you have to give cuet just after your 12th exams. You have to be pass in class 12th exams then you can give cuet. You can only give exams of subjects which you had in your class 12th. After giving exams , some universities release their admission form. You have to fill that form if you want to take admission. As you move ahead with their admission process you have to clear their cutoffs. For bcom hons in srcc the 2025 cutoff was 917/1000. For eco hons it was 910 for general category....Read More

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

So basically i had applied to almost all other colleges in DU, for example Hindu, Miranda, LSR etc. Even non DU colleges, for example St. Xaviers. I got in all of them. However SRCC being my first preferance finally became my destination. I chose it mainly because of the Brand value it has. Same reason that people choose IITs. I didnt really get a rejection from anywhere. Just IIM under IPMAT, and that was because i didnt study too well for the entrance. For the admission in this college, u need to clear an examination called CUET. Thats the only exam. Cut off for B.Com hon goes the highest in SRCC itself, being the most demanded college.
