Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course was for a duration of 3 years holding a full-time graduation degree. It has subjects like Colonialism in India, Contemporary Politics, Nationalism in India etc. It has 6 semesters in total with an intake of 40 seats.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college has a placement cell to guide the students for a competitive job market. Many recruiters recruit students from the college each year. Many companies like Techno park, Federal Bank, Genpack etc recruit students for higher posts.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fee for each year is INR 18,000 which makes a grand total of INR 54,000 for all the 3 years. The total of the fees includes tuition fees, other fees etc. The course fee is feasible as compared to other courses and colleges.

Campus Life

3.5

The college offers extracurricular activities, library, sports day etc. They organize special programs for special events such as ozone day, world environment day, women's day etc. Labs are maintained well and are kept in a really good condition.

Admission

I got admission in this college by passing my (10+2) examination from any recognized board like CBSE. I filled the application form for this college online to be eligible for my course and later I got admission on the basis of Merit .

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is very amiable, helpful and also provides study materials to it’s students. Their teaching methods are really unique. You can contact them if you have doubts & can meet them after the class.

Placement Experience:

There are placements in St thomas, with a placement cell but I have to say it beyond terrible. Especially students from criminology and forensics have zero opportunities in their field. They barely help with higher education or career counseling. It was quite frustrating as they had a negative approach itself to our batch

Reviewed on Mar 12, 2022(Enrolled 2016)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of BA English Language and Literature includes not less than 15 permanent teachers. They are not only teaching but also mending students. The teachers who are strict in academics, became very friendly when it comes outside the classroom. They also try to bring out the greatest potential from each and every student. Teachers lend their helping hand to each pupil throughout their projects and seminars. The qualification of faculty is a Post Graduation in English Language and Literature from a UGC accredited college and also, they should be qualified UGC NET examination, which is being conducted by The University Grant Commission twice a year. Each batch may have 52-55 students.
