Course Curriculum Overview

This course has been recently introduced in the college. So far, the focus is mostly on academics. Major highlights of this department are its labs that are loaded with latest equipment. Apart from that, the course is of 3 years duration, each having 2 semesters.

Placement Experience

College pays great emphasis on student's placement and so companies are called in to recruit students as per their merit. Also, soft skills development programs and various other seminars are also conducted for overall personality development of the student.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Students don't have to pay hefty amount. The fees varies between INR 13000 - inr 18000 per year. It can be easily paid by middle income group families and the students can acquire education from the college.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course not because of curriculum.The syllabus is very bad and it doesn't really help to apply in real-world situations.I suggest that the practical exposure must be needed and give chances for students to apply in internships.The timing of exam actually stressed alot in even semesters due to shortage in classes.The faculty rushes to take class and also gives a load of work when the exam is near.

I applied in various colleges under the University of Kerala. I was waiting for a merit seat in those top colleges. I got merit seat in Emmanuel college in first allotment after that I was waiting for the next allotment to take place and finally after the second allotment I got a merit seat in Christ Nagar college Maranalloor for Bcom commerce with computer application. After some days we were asked to come to the college with our parents and confirm the seat. Along with the marksheet, migration certificate and University application form we went to the college. We met a few people and the head of the Commerce Department conducted a small interview where he asked some questions regarding accountancy and then my future plans.
