The college campus is very beautiful with emu cafe main attraction point at the college
The timing of college is 8:30 to 1:10 which is good for part time jobs
Good amount of placement in the college companies like alianz,guide house,sutherland etc

Dislikes

Very strict rules and regulations .No emphasis on college or campus life
No importance in sports .No proper staffs for coaching
Campus life is very bad and no proper programes held

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum's focus on,data analytics aligned with my life The case studies and simulations provided valuable insights into real-world business challenges. The curriculum provided a strong foundation for pursuing further studies in MBA There could be more emphasis on developing practical skills like negotiation, public speaking Incorporate more industry guest lectures and site visits.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees structure is semester-wise, it is 14000 per semester for BBA and different course have different fees structure . Whole course fees is about 85000 + fees for extra amenities like college uniforms,college bus etc . There are scholarship provided by kerala university

Campus Life

The campus have vibrant ,friendly and academic focused atmosphere There many places for social interaction like main canteen and emu cafeteria There are clubs and student union to foster our needs. The library us very big and has wide ranges of books

Admission

I chose Christ Nagar college over other college because its strong academic performance and It is the best college that provide BBA course in my hometown (trivandrum).The college focuses on academics more than anything so it influenced my descision to join there.

Faculty

Department of management has 6 faculty members including HOD . The exams structure are Out of 80 marks (minimum pass mark 28) Internal marks 20 (10 assignment +10 internal exam) The exams are moderate difficulty .There are about 30 to 40% failed students every semester

Night Life

There is no nigthlife in the college since no hostel is present in the college campus The closing time of gym is 5pm Library is 1:30 pm The famous hangout spot inside the college is emu cafe and basketball court area

My Experience at the university

Placement Experience:

Since I'm in the 1st semester, i really don't have a great idea about the placements but as far as I know Chinmaya Vishwa vidyapeeth university has their dedicated training, placement and corporate relations center. The highest package was 7 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average package might be 4 LPA. Nike, mastek are the few companies who came to recruit After completing my degree, i might go for a job and then complete my PG.

soem subjects i feel very unnecessary are IKS and SANSKIRT..even so collectively speaking nobody understands the reason why they are being asked to learn iks(Indian knowledge system).and for sanskirt we could argue its a language and learning it would be some consideration a skillset but even though if that is the case we mustn't force somebody to learn it.it should be a choice

Students from 6th semester is eligible for campus placements. Infosys,Tcs, allianze, guidehouse etc are main companies visited. Average package was 3-5lpa Most of the students opt for higher studies than placement but students who appeared for placement more than half of them got job offers. It's your choice!

I applied in various colleges under the University of Kerala. I was waiting for a merit seat in those top colleges. I got merit seat in Emmanuel college in first allotment after that I was waiting for the next allotment to take place and finally after the second allotment I got a merit seat in Christ Nagar college Maranalloor for Bcom commerce with computer application. After some days we were asked to come to the college with our parents and confirm the seat. Along with the marksheet, migration certificate and University application form we went to the college. We met a few people and the head of the Commerce Department conducted a small interview where he asked some questions regarding accountancy and then my future plans.
