Course consist of four and half years of study plus one year of internship and from last year one year of thriller posting during 1st year preclinical subject suggest physiology biochemistry and anatomy is talk during 2nd year paraclinical subject such as Pathology Pharmacology and microbiology during 3rd year and final year clinical subjects taught

We are placed in hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have on the basis of giving good treatment to the patients. The salary in the beginning is good but as the experience increases we can even open our own clinic or even hospital or work privately too.

The college fee structure is bit on the higher side ie a lot expensive, I feel. The fees are Rs 200,000 per annum which makes it to Rs 1 crore on s total for a period of five years which is not very economical or affordable.

The college has departmental based laboratories facility for the students. The college has good sports facilities for all students. The college has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. Students have free access to internet facilities maintained at our institution. From Anatomy to Community medicine, all the departments in college campus are connected and are fully networked. Internet, E-learning and browsing facilities are centrally maintained. Both undergraduates and postgraduates are trained and actively encouraged to make use of the internet facilities not only for their curriculum needs but for research and to enhance their knowledge.

At Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Medical College and Hospitals, Salem - Life in the campus is probably the most memorable period in the lives of the students. I got admission in to the college through my NEET score. NEET is conducted in the month of may and the results are out by mid june. I scored 380 in NEET and applied for counseling process. Then I got this college in my counseling and went ahead for the admission.

The faculty is well educated and experienced with complete knowledge of their subjects. They are an important pillars of the college and a support system for the students helping them improve with their knowledge regarding the field.
