The lecture hall is very spacious and fully air conditioned.
College ground is awesome has separate court for cricket volleyball and basketball

Dislikes

The hostel facility is not good. No air conditioner

Course Curriculum Overview

We have curriculum based medical education(CBME).in that we study by competency numbers. That gives better knowledge to us better way to understand the subject . The exams are kinda difficult but u can clear of u study

Internships Opportunities

Every student doing course in our college gets internship within the college some of them go to nearby hospitals for easy accessibility and internship money is little less than other colleges but they will inverse

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee for one year is 2300000 including tution,hostel and mess. Books they provide for 1st year only after that u have to buy. Caution deposit- lakhs need to pay before admission. Laundry fees 6 thousand.

Campus Life

Personally i like this college the first thing is studies I'm satisfied with it and second this is sports they give of for all matches and encourage us. Ragging free campus seniors are very friendly .

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is not great but okay hostel has nice aeration and water facility only one cons in no air container administration said they will fix air conditioner upcoming year we hope they do that

Admission

This college have great reputation and name. This is one of the old colleges in tamilnadu. The doctors coming from this college are very talkative and had better knowledge. This college is very near to my home

Faculty

The facility's are very friendly and gives motivation to study. They way of teaching is very good and professors are rich in number and knowledge. They arrange mentor and mentees meeting every month .

Placement Experience:

Since it is Medicine, there are no campus interviews. Once the course is completed, the registration number is given with which one can pursue a job in any hospital or can join postgraduation after getting through the NEET PG exam. To talk about the salary, the initial payment after completing M.B.B.S will be around 30,000-40,000. If joining after completing postgraduation or super speciality, the range will be above 80,000 per month. If there is any career in the final year, one has to study for six more months to clear the exam and then do the internship. This is common for all medical colleges in India. My plan is to clear the NEET PG and join a postgraduation degree of my choice after my UG.

Life Of a Madurai Medico

Remarks:

The college is very old and has been established in the 1950's. The atmosphere is very good for promoting studies. Since it is located near to the town all the essentials can be easily bought without much wandering. The Hospital is also situated very near to the college which makes it easy to go there too.

I got better college opportunities in Chennai but it was too far from my home so obviously my parents didn't want to send me there.
