Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness ar too notch and they can prepare you to face further challenges in terms of academics and in life as well. I dont think there is aneed for improvement in the curriculum and teaching methods

Internships Opportunities

3

Every student has to complete their internship in our college hospital only. And we are not allowed to chooose any other hospitals of our choice . We have to sign a bond at the time of admission that we will do our internship in this hospital only . But I think if we pay pay a certain amount we can do the internship at our college of choice

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year Tuition fee- 2070000/- Hostel fee- 150000/- Caution fee- 100000/- Registration fee - ?5000 Since its a deemed college we have to pay a refundable counselling fee of ?200000 Each batch consists of 150 seats and no scholarships are currently available to my knowledge

Campus Life

5

Our college has a good auditorium where all the cultural programs and other functions are conducted. The stages provide great opportunities for students in improving their extracurricular talents. The ground is one of the best in India , even the TNPL clubs cometo our ground for practices. Hospital building has a really good air conditioned library. The campus has a really good basketball court with night lights , tennis court, volleyball court, cricket nets and

Hostel Facilities

4

I chose to stay in our college hostel. Currently they 2 hostels for boys , the freshers stay in another hostel which is 2km far away from the campus and they have transport facilities provided to reach college. That hostel is very spacious with air conditioning but the only con was common bathroom. The main boys hostel where 2nd - CRRI s stay has around hundred rooms where 2 each stay ,

Admission

I chose this college as they were one of the top Deemed medical colleges in south india which provided quality education and had good sports facilities as well. My neet score was around 300 and couldn't make it to other private colleges . The admissions are through the AllIndia counselling through NEET

Faculty

4

Faculties are experienced and can approach them with any difficulties. Dr Deepti Shastri Mam (deputy dean. and dept of anatomy) has very good knowledge in the subject and her classes are very useful and interesting. Every year we have around 4-5 internals and one final year exam. The question paper and curriculum is not so different from any other medical colleges .

Night Life

3

We have a fully functional and organised multigym , closes by 10pm . Besides the gym there's an air conditioned cafeteria called Chai wala , where we could hangout. Library is open for the students till 12am. In time for girls hostel is 8pm Boys hostel intiming is usually by 9/9:30 Locality around the campus is safe

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a doctor, I can help people a lot. There is a lot to study and knowing the human body, to cure disease, and much more is a great experience. The curriculum prepares me to do great in my future endeavors. The thing I think they lack is a bit more clinical exposure for all students separately. Teaching methods are all good. They conduct exams after each important section, they teach. Around 6-7, internal exams are kept.
