Remarks

A campus is a great place if you want to gain knowledge theoretically and practically and also to get a good time experience along with it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The main thing is you not only learn the things theoretically but also the things get to learn practically they provide the workshops site visits and provide the knowledge by step by step method the faculty are great they are highly educated and also highly experienced.

Placement Experience

4.5

I also have a big connection to the project holders and the interior company holders. While during your course if the student is eligible and also eligible to perform the task they provide the internship also.

College Events

5

Also, not studies are not an important part of life celebration and festival are also provide a good impression in a personal nature. The birthday celebration and the small parties and festival celebration are also providing in the campus .which helps in building the connection as well as growing in the confidence.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Mainly nowadays due to highly competitive environment all colleges and institute charge a high amount for courses and as per in comparison to the other is also is a good option for not too much high or less expensive fee structure also normally in every college the fee structure is always higher but ivs has a middle one.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes also if the student is eligible they provide loan and scholarship to the student also if you have a financial week background the administration provide good convince ideas.

Campus Life

5

The environment I am friendly on campus the students comes from a good background or culture which not provide a comfortable environment to the campus but also give positive vibes. As per nowadays everywhere, there is no high and low in society but ivs provide a friendly environment for the student.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are helping in nature they provide you with good suggestion as well as help in the study if you are having difficulty in study .also seniors perform a good interaction with the junior.

Admission

As per India is a developing country so choosing a course for future 1st thing that comes is which have a vast scope to be a success in life and as per I persuade the interior design course I was randomly searching for college after the 12th and found the ivs was very confusing in choosing the college but choosing ivs was a good decision.

Faculty

4.5

The mandatory daily lecture is always 3 hours in a day and also the other lecture are performed on the students demand for the doubts and also the faculty teachers are polite in talking as well as friendly in nature also the faculty teachers are experience holders and have a great knowledge also.

Indira Gandhi National Open University - [IGNOU], Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Sep 5, 2025(Enrolled 2024)

Placement Experience:

Placements in IGNOU are quite limited compared to regular universities. Since IGNOU is an open and distance learning university, it does not have a strong campus placement system like DU or private colleges. There is a Campus Placement Cell (CPC) that conducts job fairs and recruitment drives at some regional centers, but these are not very frequent and mostly depend on the location. Usually, students who are in their final year or have completed the course can apply, but there is no fixed semester rule since the system is flexible. The companies that visit are not very large in number and vary every year. Some private firms, NGOs, BPOs, insurance companies, and small IT firms have participated in the past. The roles are generally entry-level such as sales, customer support, data entry, insurance advisor, or junior IT support. There are very limited opportunities for core mathematics or research roles through placements. As far as packages are concerned, the average package is usually around ?2.5 LPA to ?4 LPA, but since IGNOU is an open university, it cannot be expected to have the same placement levels as regular colleges with full-time classes. Also, the percentage of students placed is very small because most IGNOU students are either working professionals, homemakers, or people preparing for competitive exams, so placements are not the main focus. Many students use the degree as a qualification while pursuing their own career path outside. I am currently in my 2nd year, so I do not have personal placement experience yet. The data I have mentioned here is based on internet sources and feedback from other IGNOU students. From what I have learned, placements exist but are very limited, and one should not rely only on them for career building.
