Remarks

My college is really a beautiful place to study and learn because of its vast campus, quality education, friendly faculty, and constant support given by the institution. I'm proud to say that my college is very clean and has lot of small trees inside the campus comapred to other colleges. I don't have any bad remarks about my college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The learning is very updated and my college brings in new courses seeing the trends. Yes, my curriculum provides industry specific knowledge which helps all the students immensly to get a placement. My college had organised various industrial visits for all the students.

Placement Experience

4

The companies visited are DELL, IMB, cognizant, HP,Kpcit and many other top companies in this range. They conduct rounds such as aptitude, coding, group discussion, technical and hour round. I guess around 80-85% of the students gets placed, but I'm not sure about the figures. My college conducts various skill development classes, soft skills classes, coding classes, etc for the students to take up the placements in a confident way.

College Events

5

There are various events conducted by my college in terms of technology, culture, etc. They also give away prizes for the students who perform well in the events. My college has a lot of students studying because of the courses it offers and intake. So the participation is more and the events are big.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The program fee is 96000, out of which, 40000 is college fees and 56000 should be payed to the government. We can pay the fees by cheque, DD or cash. There are no additional fees to be paid. Yes, the college provides total transparency in the fee breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

I've not opted for any scholarship or education loan. But there are few scholarships offered by the government for students.

Campus Life

5

The gender ratio of my course will be just like any other college. The guys are a bit more comapred to girls in my course. For example for every class of 35 guys, there are 20-25 girls. The sports and cultural activities provide the students to show case their talent in a great way. There are a lot of compitations to participate in my college. There are few cultural fests and technology based events to show our interests and talent.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I've not choosed to stay in hostel. As far as I know, the hostel rooms are big and clean. The hostel buildings look really big and nice from outside. I've heard the food is great and my college mess also provides special dishes and snacks to the hostel students, which is a treat to them.

Alumni/Alumna

I'm more of an introvert, so I've not interacted much with my seniors and alumni network. But I do interact more with my faculty and they help me out in a great way to shape me as a good and successful student. I do have few senior friends who have helped me in gaining skills based on current technology.

Admission

I was interested in Electronics because I had studied electronics in my PU. For the rank I got in my CET, this was the best college available, so I took this institution. I got my documents such as marks card, TC, etc verified by the government of karnataka board for PU education. Then, I uploaded colleges for my rank in the order of priority. After 1st and 2nd round of seat selection process, I got it in the 3rd round. Later just submitted my original documents to the college and finished my admission by paying college fees.

Faculty

4

There are more than 40 lectures for my course, average age being 35 with few of them completed their Phd.The faculty help us to understand concepts in a very easy way and they have a good clarity in their respective courses. I'm not sure about certifications or industry experience, but I guess they have it.

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
