Remarks :
My overall review is its a good college with best campus life and a good faculty system.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course duration is thouree years. This thouree year contains total of 6 semesters, that is 2 semesters in one year. For each semester there will be an internal examination and university exam (board exam). The college is more campus driven but also provide Industrial Visits. It played an average role in making me a professional.
Placement Experience :
Placement cell is not that good here. Its been only 2 years since the first placement took place. But year by year its improving alot. Now many reputed companies come to our college and pick up the suitable candidates at our placement fair which takes place every year end.
College Events :
Thera are many events that take place with a huge number of participants. Management Fest conducted by Commerce Department is the biggest event that take place every year in the name of 'Vokaza', then there is Cultural Arts Fest conducted by the college union.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is Feasible to everyone. And for those who cannot even meet that expenses there is govt. support for the fees and other allowances. Its really affordable for all to study in this collegee as it is Government aided college. Examination fee is also not high and there is also support from government for the needy.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No I didnt opt any scholarship or education loan. But as far as i know there are some scholarships available as postmetric and central based scholarships which are based on our plus two marks.
Campus Life :
Campus life at MES Mampad is the best thing I have got in my whole life. Campus is full of greenery with huge trees that protect us from the hot sun. Gender ratio is almost equal in campus and students come from different part if the state. Many extracurricular activities take place.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted hostel as my home is near to college. There is in-campus hostel for both boys and girls both seperate. Hostels are clean tidy and safe. There is food available in girls hostel. For students who dont want the college hostel, then there is apartments of sharing rooms available outside the campus.
Alumni/Alumna :
Aluminies are very helpful. There are many aluminies in the locality itself and can be met in person.
Admission :
The admission criteria was based on my plus two marks. The admission process took place in June. I was lucky enough to be in the merit list which made my admission easier. Its not that easy to get into merit quota, but even if you fail to be in merit quota you have community quota/sports quoata/management quota
Faculty :
The faculty of our department is very strict but also very helpful at time of need. There is a dozen of lecturers in our department and each one varies in their qualifications. The faculties are assigned to each subject by assuming their skill and quality. Faculties have only teaching experience and not industry experience in our department.
