Remarks

The gate pass system is very annoying. Pass has to be applied at least 24 hours before exiting the college. Need permission letter from parents to make the wardens approve the pass. Only eligible to go out of the college twice a week Food is not good at all. Canteen also doesn't provide with enough varieties of food. Good scenery and huge playground. But girls aren't allowed outside to the playground after 6pm

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is awesome. Exam structure is horrible. Internals have 50% weightage so we have to wrkbll thourough the year to gain a better cgpa and it is tiring because if the faculty doesn't like you, you're done. Practical knowledge is not enough. IVs aren't a thing in this college

Placement Experience

3

Placements for aerospace is very bad. For other departments it's actually fine. Internships can be availed only during vacations.

College Events

3.5

Anokha is the technical fest. It is inter college fest and is celebrated ij the month of February. Amritotsavam is ctural fest and is intra college and celebrated in the same Month. Ugathi celebrations, Pongal celebrations which is known as Vasantham, Gokulashtami celebrations are all very Grand in the college. Sports day also happens in the month of March. The college celebrates little festivals too and has a lot of ongoing stuff at all times

Fee Structure And Facilities

expensive. The college charges 3 lakhs for academic coaching and 1 lakh for hostel and mess food. The mess food is horrible at times. The college provides transparency. Mode of payment is checks for fee payment and online transfer. The books will not be provided and can be utilized from the library which has 15 days return policy. After that charges 1rs / book for one day as fine. Online materials will also be provided.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. The eligible People will be notifued about the necessary things by the class advisor. The college will give scholarship depending upon the entrance exam

Campus Life

4.5

The competitions are really good. They give prize money every time. Gender ratio is bad. Very less girls. Sports is good. We have toastmasters club. MUN club, literary club, Sports Clu b with a lot of wings including Ultimate Frisbee. More telugu people. More malayalam people dominate. Economic status is upper middle class people fill the college

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Yes. Hostel rooms are shared by 4 in the first 2 years. In 3rd year girls get 2 people in a room and boys still 4 in a room in 3rd year. Final year single room for a person. Hot water in the morning is available only till 8am.drinking water available at all times

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. The alumni network is very helpful to get internships or guidance for MS or higher studies. But the college doesn't have enough contacts. Most students go abroad and the students who come back for visists the college arranges meeting gs with them for further plan of action reference

Admission

The admission process is based on ARE which is Amrita all India extrance examination or JEE mains. The exam will be in the Month of April. I opted for the course because aerospace has a lot of scope in Amrita. This year GATE 1st all india rank in India was bagged by aerospace student of amrita. Every year at least 5 students get AIR below 100 from our department in Amrita. The coaching is at par with international institutions and the facilities are really good. The institution is reputed and has the very less background for drug usage. The gate pass system makes the parents comfortable in leaving us here.

Faculty

4

The faculties are very good except for the Maths department. Aerospace has very talented faculties and teaching is at par with the best universities in the World. The clarity provided might not be deep enough though. They teach surface level and not the fundamental origins and concepts

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum behind or campus is very much updated and it is changing as the technology changes. As the present world is engaging with computer and artificial intelligence,I want to improve more knowledge and also want to compete with others. The time table and the devlopment technology followed by our university is devoloped so that only placement are recorded with high percentage when compared to other. The improvement should be observed only regarding labs.We have write examination for every 30 or 40 days , because there are 3 internal test ,semester and lab exams.Actually time is not sufficient but we have to do hardwork.when compared to other universities or colleges our exams arebwry hard.

Curriculum is not suitable for real world applications and exams are conducting simultaneously every 20 days.We have to study every single minute for getting good CGPA . Our curriculum is very tough to study and it increases the thinking power of students.
