When i go to the college first time it was so boring and only some college familirisation classes are there. After one month so many activities and sport make me so intresting.

The course cariculam was brilliant and superbb, it is relevant research driven fair it had a very good role in making avery good professional the curiculum is designed ina way to make each student a talented engineer our college is one of the best college in kollam

Our college is providing 90percent placement for all students Many multinational companies is visiting our college like microsoft infosys google and many other companies

College Events

There are many events celebrated in college like technical cultural management and many festivals they are conducted for stess release for the students the events are holi onam chouristmas easter vishu idulfitar and many other many feastivals other than that many cultural eventsxare also organised

Fee Structure And Facilities

Merit seat fees iscfeasible but management seat fees is not feasible for poor student it is 65000 per year for management seat an additional special fee is charged by the college college is providing transperancy regarding the fees structure but at some time it is difficult for the students

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes our college is organising no of scholarship for talented students thosevstudents who are having fifty percentage in exams can apply

Campus Life

First month was boring,then the teachers take as to the workshop for cutting,welding,soldring and chiseling, the some of us go to the kozhikodu engineering college for attending a workshop baised on the topic artificial intelligence and robotics.That days super and unforgettable,the college days was awsome.

Hostel Facilities

No, i did not opted for the college hostel Because the college is only 7km from my house and i can go thourought the private bus it is very easier,but my friends told tha the room was nice and they satisfy with the room facilities and the scenary is very close to the nature

On the first day when i went to the college, seniours are sit in front of the college auditorium and they do friendly ranging to the students.After one or two month they are make a close bond with us.

I got admission by writing the entrancecexamination from childhood onwards it was my dream to become an engineer so after plus two i went for one month crash course in a near by entrance coaching institute and wrote the exam and i got good marks and i appeared for repeated counselling and in the second round of counselling i got admission here

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
